Great puzzle. My lack of observation meant I was stuck in the bottom level for a while XD, but after that I progressed at a reasonable rate.
qrioso Feb 2, 2017 @ 6:42am
Good map, easy enough. Thanks
chroncile Feb 7, 2016 @ 11:45pm
I beat this map in 20 seconds. I just threw the cube at the button and it opened the door lol
Asha Man Feb 7, 2016 @ 3:30pm
Once I thought my way through it, it seemed clean and logical. No problem with the piston fling. Great map thx.
Pamsy Feb 7, 2016 @ 2:05am
Nice map. Hint 1: Piston to connect floors. Hint 2: there are 2 ways to use the orange funnel to bring the cube up.
Petutski Dec 21, 2015 @ 7:30pm
Ah! I stand corrected! You are right! Thanks!
Azorae  [author] Dec 21, 2015 @ 6:05pm
On the contrary, when you have the two funnels together, they are both pointed in the same direction: Away from the blue source and towards the orange source. Otherwise, thanks for the feedback!
Petutski Dec 13, 2015 @ 4:03pm
While this is an excellent map, it requires some esoteric moves which are not purely logical. Also it takes adavantage of a quirk that blue/red mixed tunnel will be more blue than red. Not my favorite kind of map.
zigzagtenniscoe Aug 12, 2015 @ 5:25pm

then once you get into the top room, portal the funnel to the exit button, throw the cube in there, then you're done. In this soluition, I didn't need the angled panel .

Nonetheless, great map! Thanks, I had to come back to this one and take a break :)
zigzagtenniscoe Aug 12, 2015 @ 5:24pm
Neat map, although I may have found an unintended solution:

Everything's normal until you use the funnel to get up to the top room. Place a portal on the ground right next to the portal the funnel was coming up from. (Remember this has to have the cube on the button to work.) Once you go through the portal, while you go flying up try to place a portal in the same path as the cube on the button is on the wall opposite of the platform where the cube is. Now use the reverse funnel to grab the cube and put it to the platform. Portal down to there and set up the funnel in the top room. Go into the funnel with the cube, (continued)

Another fantastic map. I believe that u can solve it with 15 portal placements.
batman Sep 11, 2014 @ 3:24am
It took me 7 h ours to solve. I guess I'm stupid but i did this map. Man you're genius. Unfortunately I didnt manage to solve Solitude although i had rights ideas....

this one took me a while. nice map

Read my profile before reading the rest of my comment!

Much less on the Portal-1-esque solving maneuvers so I was able to solve without looking up the solution. You still need those kind of maneuvers but it isn't too tricky to solve. Well done. It works really well. Love the storage area created by the grate.

Try my SP map?
Try my COOP map?
Geneosis Jul 5, 2013 @ 1:41pm
Well I would not really call it momentum "conservation", but thanks for the tip guys, I completely missed that part ans was stuck because of that X) Really good and challenging chamber ^^
Turmoil Jun 5, 2013 @ 8:56pm
Which funnel was the intended solution? Because I used the orange one in a pretty cheap effortless way.
SkepticalDragon May 14, 2013 @ 4:09am
I think it is when I was glancing at the high celing at the upper part of the chamber that it clicked for me. It had me baffled for a while but it was beautiful when it clicked.
Almisuifre May 2, 2013 @ 10:57am
Nice "experiment with heigts and levels". Challenging just the right amount ;)
Fluppy Apr 14, 2013 @ 4:08am
I tried this one a few weeks ago and I ended up by throwing the cube at button and running quickly to the exit. Now I came back to this one because I wanted to finish it without "cheating". I managed to solve it very quickly because I am familiar with the idea of conserving momentum from No Elements mappack. Nice one.
ken.roberts Mar 15, 2013 @ 6:24pm
Fantastic minimalist map. So simply - yet so ingenius. I spent 2 days and never figured it out although I was so close. Finally turned to KennKong's video and could've slapped myself silly !!
Azorae  [author] Mar 14, 2013 @ 1:06pm
Attunement Advanced was made by Gig and can be found in his Advanced Chambers Collection.
ken.roberts Mar 13, 2013 @ 4:58pm
In watching Columbus's video at http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=107880965 I saw in his list of maps "Attunement" and also "Attunement Advanced". However I see no "Attunement Advanced" here in your map listings. What in the world is going on here ??
Ale Jan 18, 2013 @ 9:58am
Very good design, thank you!
dneufeldt Jan 12, 2013 @ 2:19pm
A good head scratcher, I took a 2 minute break and the solution came to me. Great work one again!
zazaza Jan 12, 2013 @ 9:19am
Amazing puzzle, took me a good while to figure it out :) you're very good, Azorae!
toncica Dec 19, 2012 @ 4:29am
Nice, elegant and simple solution in a good looking chamber. Thumbs up.
I feel silly for trying to break it.
tuyuqas Dec 8, 2012 @ 3:17am
As always, great idea and job, Azorae :)
KennKong Dec 6, 2012 @ 4:01pm
I can't believe how long it took me to figure out that I could fling from the floor of the upper room . Here's my solution video: Azorae's Attunement solution
𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗯𝘂𝘀 Dec 3, 2012 @ 11:20am
Yeah, I changed that... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTXHewHW95U
Split into two parts.
AD_79 Dec 3, 2012 @ 10:42am
Columbus, it says the video was removed because it was too long. Split it into two parts or something, I think the standard length limit is 15 minutes.
𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗯𝘂𝘀 Nov 21, 2012 @ 9:11pm
Okay, it failed at uploading. Now it's going to be at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9omb7fMxXH0
𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗯𝘂𝘀 Nov 20, 2012 @ 6:43pm
First YouTube video! And it's a playthrough of your map. Going to be at Columbus Plays: Azorae's Attunement once it finishes uploading.
madvtdm Nov 19, 2012 @ 4:41am
And no... Bbeoggjay2, I didn't get angry, just surprised. As I say I love the challenge. Heck, I've solved some puzzles while I wasn't even in front of the computer... It's as if it's on a back burner and all of a sudden, the solution pops up in my mind. O.K. I may not always be quick but I don't give up. I have lots of fun with these more difficult puzzles. I've played most of Azorae's.
madvtdm Nov 19, 2012 @ 4:35am
Indeed it did... I tried it again and it didn't ??? Now I'm trying to do it the real way... a lot more challenging. I really love the challenge your puzzles bring and the satisfaction to be able to solve them.
1980 Nov 19, 2012 @ 3:37am
Azorae, i think that madvtdm guy lied. He must have been crazy solving the puzzle, unable to get even a slight thread of the solution. Now he got angry toward you.
Azorae  [author] Nov 18, 2012 @ 7:56pm
Hmm.. Did the door stay open after the cube fell? That should definitely not be possible
madvtdm Nov 18, 2012 @ 5:39pm
Huhhhh..... I did it but it was too easy, it can't be the intended solution... I manually pressed the button next to the exit with the cube, and the door stayed open so I exited... didn't need to use any tractor beams
1980 Nov 18, 2012 @ 1:41am
it took me quite a lot time, man. I hit my head when i got the glimse of the solution. The solution was not so difficult. Great structure and puzzle!
Sloi Nov 15, 2012 @ 6:02pm
Once again, nicely done good sir...

sembiox Nov 14, 2012 @ 11:40am
Great job. That had me really stumped for a good time.
p0rtalthumper Nov 14, 2012 @ 12:19am
Excellent work again. Here's another small exploit to fix, if you're interested: the player can airstrafe in the upper room to fling in out in the lower room instead of using the excursion funnel.
Mothalius Nov 13, 2012 @ 2:57am
Good job man.
Azorae  [author] Nov 12, 2012 @ 7:03pm
Really? Hmm, I'll probably have to stretch out the bottom room. Thanks.
Woodbeam Nov 12, 2012 @ 6:45pm
It's actually still possible to fall into an orange funnel placed on the wall panels across the gap from the button by first placing it on the floor to slow your fall.
Azorae  [author] Nov 12, 2012 @ 11:45am
Fixed it, thanks
Woodbeam Nov 11, 2012 @ 8:32pm
The portal surfaces directly above and below the fizzler hole can be used to skip the flinging part of the puzzle by using the orange funnel on the ceiling and repositioning it to the wall in mid-fall, or using it on the floor or ceiling to fall onto the button platform directly. The ceiling surfaces don't seem to be necessary in the intended solution, and the floor ones can probably be thinned out to prevent this.
Navith Nov 11, 2012 @ 7:26pm
You're my new favorite map maker. Or at least tied for favorite.
