a fair point, still even though I really haven't updated tis mod in a long time I wonder if I could just simply add it to the crafting menu.

Archon of Fate: All I can say is that the replica crown would craft upon activating the crown with the materials after a 2nd completion of the quest and a second restarting of the game, all after I first installed the mod. If other commenters had the same issues, they didn't list them here, so maybe it was just a weird glitch on my end and nothing to really concern yourself with. Like you said, the mod has been around for a while now and is highly rated, so my glitch is uncommon if not unique.

hmm which is odd as it is (If I remember properly its been years since I made this mod) programmed to have the same requirements as the bust and crown do to show up after quest completion. I will say if you completed it it will most likely not show up but this was already tested by the below post. (Thanks Perster! :) ) did activating the crown with the materials work then?

A note for anyone having trouble getting this to work:

The first time I started the game back up after subscribing, the mod did not function at all. I had already completed the "No Stone Unturned" quest before subscribing and based on the mod description, I thought backing up to an old save before I completed the quest and completing it with the mod installed might do the trick; I was lucky and had just finished the quest before finding this mod, so backing up was doable. However, that did not seem to work either. I then restarted the game again, loading in my most recent save with the 2nd quest completion. Afterwards, activating the statue worked and gave me the crown.

I don't know what parts of this sequence were necessary to get the mod working and which were not, but I would try some of them if you have your own issues.

P.S. At no point has Vex's note ever appeared for me, so I can confirm you don't have to find it to get the crown.

Sorry didnt want to break the lore by saying you got the real thing ^,^; As for getting the note through console commands if you get it before completing the quest you can try to activate the bust in the thieves guild area but at that point id say just spawn the crown in through the commands if you want to get it before doing the quest itself

The note can be found through console commands, does one need to complete the quest before getting the crown?

i wish i could equip the real thing instead of just the replica

yeah not really a good modeler and the crown will not work on beast races no matter how hard I tried. :(

@eurybus, its because beast races werent meant to were it, lorewise it wouldnt make sense

sorry the helm not working on Argonians is a bug persay their models are different that most of the other races... as for the armors not matching. Iliked the dragon preist armor above with it. Sort of fit. Other than that check out the workshop here or the nexis sites. The amount af armors made for this game are staggering. :)

The only problem I have is this crown is so bright... its almost... annoying to wear. I can't find any armors that even match the crown. I tried Gold Dawnguard Armor, Amethyst Armor, and both look nothing like the gold in the crown, which is really disappointing. Is there an armor mod on steam that matches the crown?

Just letting you know, As an argonian this doesn't want to show up as it's on my head. It'll be active if equipted and I'll have the armor but the helm is never present on me.

The recipe should call for 25 garnets. I know you only find 24 Stones of Barenziah, but there are actually 25 if you count each individual gem on the crown

mainly the same, just posted it later on the workshop as I used it less before. as for the argonian issue its one i'm still attempting to work out argonians and Kajits need different models.

Quick question: You have this posted on both Steam and Nexus. Are both the same? They have different posted dates that are wide apart (May vs Nov).

Maybe it's just me, but the crown, when equipped, is invisible on my Argonian.

Richard, I found it on the skyrim nexus under armor, ( Dragon Priest Armor ).

Pretty neat. It occupies the standard armor slot for the head, yes?

@richard it's only on the Skyrim Nexus I believe. @ Artur I considered that when I made it but in the end I simulated the quest which had 24 gems though I may change it as this mod is still very much so a work in progress

Shouldn't the mighty crown of Barenziah have a power of some sort when all the gemstones are fully in place on it?

You should totally change it to 25, because... just count the gems on the crown. 12 on the left "wing", 12 on right and one in the middle, just on the forehead.

I was always dissapointed that i couldn't try the crown on. Its awsome that someone made it playable thank you!
