Thanks. Damn. I adore Cicero, he's one of my favourite characters. i will try that mod and see if that works
Altbert  [author] Apr 12 @ 11:32am
No, he isn't, because he has a unique voicetype without the marriage conversation. But you could always try my mon "Courting & Marriage", without guarantees however.
Rhiyandra Apr 12 @ 1:14am
Cicero's not in the book. does this mean he isnt marragable?
Dinomite Aug 10, 2015 @ 2:58pm
Thx albert becuase i didn't know what i was doing at the strongholds xD
stafanoooooo Mar 5, 2015 @ 6:19pm
alright thanks man! :D
Altbert  [author] Mar 5, 2015 @ 9:43am
There are some mods that let you remarry or even marry multiple spouses. In the workshop you may find "Marriage mod - To have and to hold".
stafanoooooo Mar 4, 2015 @ 7:51pm
my wife died is there a mod to marry more than once?
Mortaeus Jan 4, 2015 @ 11:10pm
Tell me about it... ;P thanks anyways ^^
Altbert  [author] Jan 4, 2015 @ 9:42am
Sorry, I also couldn't find it anymore. I thought it was called "Multiple Marriages" but while searching I ended up with "adult content".
Mortaeus Jan 4, 2015 @ 12:08am
I couldn't find it - ;_; - but thanks for the suggestion. I really appreciate it!
Altbert  [author] Jan 3, 2015 @ 4:20pm
I have tried one mod myself long ago, with which it was possible to marry up to 50 NPCs, including divorce. It should be somewhere on the Steam workshop, but I don't know the name or if it's still here. I have had no particular problems with that mod, so if it's still around?
Mortaeus Jan 3, 2015 @ 7:31am
I am a huge fan of this mod series - it's been great so far, but I would like to ask if it would be at all possible for you to make a multiple spouses mod that worked with these mods? Or if you know of one, that would be great as well because I've tried a few and none of them have played very nicely with this one... so, yeah. Just something like the mechanics on To Have and To Hold or whatever would be awesome, or if anyone knows of any mods that ARE compatible with this one I'd be eternally grateful ^^. Either way, I hope everyone has a great day and a huge thanks to Altbert for making this series in the first place. Truly amazing!

You're right. I have set the relationship to lover in most cases. I will see how it works out with original relationship settings. If it works out fine, I will update the marriage mods, although I am working on a new mod in which there is no need to change all NPCs individually.
Tyr Remora Nov 18, 2014 @ 11:57am
That line was just an example, what i mean is everyone's relationships status towards me seems to be set on 3(ally) or even 4(lover) reguardless of having done a quest for them to appreciate me or if i even have met them yet. Ulfberth and everyone else stated how much i helped them even though i jsut started a new game like 5 minutes before, so I removed the mod to see and now no one knows me like it should be. So i reinstalled at least the kahjit ones but as far as i can tell it was your plugins doing that.
Altbert  [author] Nov 18, 2014 @ 8:20am
The only additional conversation is the marriage conversation that you will only hear (and see in the subtitling) after having spoken to Maramal and wearing the amulet of Mara. The only time I have heard the "You're a good friend ..." was when I have made an investment with a merchant, in particular Ulfberth from Warmaiden's. Are you perhaps subscribed to a mod that alters the speech perk tree or that alters dialogues? I don't think it's a side effect of my marriage mods.
Tyr Remora Nov 17, 2014 @ 8:31pm
I need to ask if a side effect of using these plugins is that every NPC is your best friend on the get go, because for me it seems to break immersion when someone i never met is telling me i've "been a good friend and it means something". I actualy enjoyed trying to get into their good graces before
Altbert  [author] Aug 23, 2014 @ 2:55pm
Sorry, but Cicero can't be added because he has a unique voice type, that doesn't include the marriage conversation.
mimspdm200 Aug 22, 2014 @ 12:51pm
you think you can add ceciro?
Altbert  [author] May 11, 2014 @ 8:10am
If the mod is installed properly, the book should be on the right corner of the counter in the Arcaneum (College of Winterhold).
gamabe May 10, 2014 @ 7:35pm
I cannot find the book anywhere
LittleDevilAkane Apr 22, 2014 @ 1:28pm
Sadly, you can marry members of guilds such as the Thieves Guild or the Dark Brotherhood, but they won't move into any of the houses with you. T.T
Altbert  [author] Apr 18, 2014 @ 10:52am
OK, I'll be happy to know what you find out!
LittleDevilAkane Apr 18, 2014 @ 10:38am
ok, i'll test it out and let you know what happens. The only reason I ask is i know there's some NPCs (not saying who for anyone who doesn't know) that will die later in their questlines, and I kinda wanted to be able to marry one of them AND keep him from dying and having to sell the wedding rings and get remarried. ^^;
Altbert  [author] Apr 18, 2014 @ 10:33am
@redvelvetcafe10: I really don't know, because I haven't tested that. But, if you try and it works out fine, post a message and I will adjust the Marriage Book. If it doesn't work, there's a mod to move your spouse into any player owned house.
LittleDevilAkane Apr 18, 2014 @ 10:15am
quick question, and if it's answered in your The Marriage Book mod, I apologize for not reading the book properly, but if i marry a Guild NPC that wasn't marriable without your marriage mod like Veezara (Dark Brotherhood) or Niruin (Thieves Guild), will I be able to move them into one of my non-mod houses like the Breezehome or Lakeview Manor after the marriage or will they go back to the guild?
B/Ananas Dec 19, 2013 @ 1:28pm
Thank you.
Altbert  [author] Aug 31, 2013 @ 2:47pm
@garnei: Inbox or link doesn't seem possible here (or I don't know how to do that). The Marriage Book provides a description for all my various marriage mods, if I recall correctly, 23 marriage mods in total. Two of these mods have all the females or all the males, each of these have the female or male mods merged into one, with one difference. The merged female mod also includes Redguard females, for which there is no seperate mod.
garnei Aug 31, 2013 @ 9:35am
under the marriage book description there are Male Npcs and Female NPS of different races, am I to understand that each mod allows for all NPS of that gender and race to be a marriagable entity ? (inbox me or link me so I know my question has been answered please)
Altbert  [author] Jun 30, 2013 @ 2:03pm
The book simply provides all the INFO to my marriage mods, nothing more. So, if you have not subscribed to one or more of the marriage mods (and not only this one) there's no additional marriage option. This mod doesn't make any NPC marriageable!!
papajack_papajohn Jun 29, 2013 @ 12:25am
Karliah was in the marriageble also and she was unique. My character married her. Also, The woman on the throne in Solitude was marriagable and she was unique. Even in the vanilla game my character married. I had like 6 different characters. :) It was fun, and I'll let you know how I like your book. I'm going to try it out.
Altbert  [author] Jun 11, 2013 @ 9:01am
If they are not in the book, then have a look at my website: http://www.elder-scrolls.nl
Reichsmarschall Spour Jun 9, 2013 @ 12:02pm
why dose it not tell you the marragable male redgaurds
Altbert  [author] May 28, 2013 @ 2:07pm
@troy: vanilla skyrim lets you marry just one time and not remarry, but there are some good mods that solve this problem and you can use these along with mine.

@zack & necro: their voices are not attached to the marriage conversation. I have tried to add them, but it gave some unwanted side-effects. I still have to figure out how to deal with that.
necromancery1 May 28, 2013 @ 1:28pm
Out of curiosity, why not Balgruuf the Greater? I mean, you have other Jarls on there, and his voice actor is the same as Jon Battle-Born and Vilkas so it shouldn't be too difficult, right? (Although I guess if you wait to ask and are a Stormcloak, he'll hate you but beyond that..)

So consider this a nudge for poor Balgruuf! :D
zack.runkle May 28, 2013 @ 12:07pm
Elisif??
Foxhound the Gamer May 4, 2013 @ 4:23pm
im just wondering since it seem's your good at makeing character's player's can marry do you know how to fix the marriage glicth that keeps the player from remarrying
Silvernirvash (Maokun) Apr 10, 2013 @ 6:06pm
alright thanks dude!
Altbert  [author] Apr 10, 2013 @ 10:38am
Right again! 600 new marriageable NPCs, most current, but with some new NPCs. Khajiit were not marriageable, so I had to add new ones, although with Argonian voice type. See the marriage book for details, or my website: http://www.elder-scrolls.nl
Silvernirvash (Maokun) Apr 10, 2013 @ 6:59am
oh wow.....thats crazy.....600 NEW NPC's? or 600 of the current skyrim npc's added to the marriage list?
Altbert  [author] Apr 10, 2013 @ 6:24am
Alltogether almost 600 extra males and females to choose from, apart from the 60 that were already marriageable.
Silvernirvash (Maokun) Apr 10, 2013 @ 6:15am
so.....exactly how many marriage options do these 2 mods GIVE you? owo;;
Altbert  [author] Apr 10, 2013 @ 1:23am
Right! I started off with the racial specific ones and upon request merged them into one male and one female package. Latest marriage mods are for HF, DG and DB (with both male and female). In total 25 marriage mods, this mod not included.
Silvernirvash (Maokun) Apr 9, 2013 @ 8:25pm
ok one more question i know you released like...what was it 6 marriage related mods? the first 2 were Female NPCS and MALE npc's but then i saw you had 2 for nords specifically and then other races as well. so im just a tad bit confused. does the standard female and male versions of the mod come with all the races and the one thats for nord specifically contain all the nords you added into the other one? like racial specfic ones then the final package is ALL of them together?
Altbert  [author] Apr 8, 2013 @ 2:57pm
No, the book only describes the options in my mods, based on the vanilla game marriage system.
Silvernirvash (Maokun) Apr 8, 2013 @ 1:46pm
so then does this mod add marriage options or does it just add a book that describes the vanilla games marriage options?
Altbert  [author] Jan 25, 2013 @ 4:21pm
Sorry, forgot to take him out of the book. Brynjolf has a unique voice type, that has no marriage conversation. Changing his voice type would have unwanted side effects.
DatHylian Jan 25, 2013 @ 10:08am
Brynjolf is in the Marriage Book mod but its not triggering the marriage conversation, even after following the guide in the book... am I missing some kind of trigger action?
Katerina Petrova Jan 10, 2013 @ 8:51am
Alright, thank you :)
Altbert  [author] Jan 10, 2013 @ 8:45am
Mikael is in the 'Marriageable Nord Males' and the 'Marriageable Males NPCs' mods.
Katerina Petrova Jan 10, 2013 @ 7:56am
Is it possible to marry Mikael if I download the 'Marriageable Nord (male) NPC's'?
