Yes! I told you way back when you were fishing for opinions to put one of these up and to charge $15 when you asked about price. Finally getting closer and my niece will still love it. :D

What's with all the "not on steam" nonsense - ok it might not be for the teenagers on here, but I'm sure there are also thousands of parents on here, like myself, that would get this for their kids. My daughter is 7 and she would love this.
Jsmans89 Feb 2, 2014 @ 11:34am
There are indeed kids on VALVE STEAM, but I don't think they would want something like this.
Lord_Tomster Jan 25, 2014 @ 2:08pm
steam is not the best market for you.
DeatheCheshire Jan 3, 2014 @ 4:01pm
Is this a joke? Is this really going to be on Steam? This is garbage. I can see this is for younger children, but here the average age is 13 years and older on Steam. And yes, I do know theree are younger children on Steam, but there aren't enough of them for this program to be of use or desire. Also those children are probably already exposed to more entertaining games on here and wouldn't want to waste their time with this. Wrong target market here. Also, if I would have a child and I wanted to involve them in art or design I certainly wouldn't use some cheap Crayola program.
xXMemeLordXx Jan 3, 2014 @ 2:52pm
Not for Steam.
Bilgediver Nov 11, 2013 @ 5:00pm
Actually this is kinda cool. Think of this on a Windows 8 Tablet, really cool idea for kids. Also, interesting that a Crayola licensed product is trying to be greenlit on steam.
Camui Oct 11, 2013 @ 2:24pm
This would be great for my younger cousins to play on my Steam account with. They are all under the age of 18 and some of them like to create things thru art. If this program pulls through and depending on the price I would like to add it someday for them to play when they come to my area for a visit.
Paint Oct 3, 2013 @ 4:54pm
You know guys.... There IS some kids on Steam. :)
xCROOKEDx Sep 23, 2013 @ 3:30pm
This would likely be great for kids. However, I personally would never use it as GIMP, MSPaint, and do absolutely everything I could want.

This is inappropriate. Please make an adult version of your software and try again. The majority of gamers, especially here, are ages 15-35; you !#@$ed up your demographic. With programs like ArtRage 4, there is NO reason for this inferior software. By the way, our 9 yr. old understands ArtRage and "gets" it, so your Crayola Studio is for even younger children then it says. I started using photoshop when I was 10. You see? ART PROGRAMS ARE EASY! There is NO reason to dumb it down, unless you havea REALLY young kid or a kid with special needs.. even then I'd start them on ArtRage 1st. Now go get some real programmers and make something professional, Crayola, you lazy !@#$%s. /jarate!
The Baby Sep 7, 2013 @ 1:17am
Are you in need of money? STEAM IS FOR THE AGES OF 13+. YOU ARE MAKING THIS FOR 4-10 YEAR OLDS!!!!!!!! Please get that in your head(s).

P.S: This made me laugh
ZeNinja864 Aug 31, 2013 @ 12:18pm

I doubt valve is asking you to do that.
Local Hyena May 4, 2013 @ 9:53am
Well they do already have other artistic drawing/painting kind of programs in the software section, such as ArtRage V:
gcollins  [author] Apr 30, 2013 @ 3:48pm
Hey everybody. I see we are getting alot of comments that this doesn't belong on steam. I just want to say that Steam has asked us to put this software up. They are adding more options for younger and older users. This will allow them to add more titles that are not just games, such as this one. Alot of steam members have younger kids who would really have fun with our art software.
Profit Durian Apr 26, 2013 @ 6:27pm
I didn't really think steam was for 6-10 year olds...
maggintons [PINK] Apr 22, 2013 @ 1:02pm
theres plenty of games that kids can play on steam....
warbee12 Apr 15, 2013 @ 9:25am
Steam. asshole. this is for ADULTS.
HE SCREAM Apr 11, 2013 @ 6:56am
Dude, this is STEAM! Its a GAMING platform for ADULTS! Why would this even be allowed on greenlight, let alone on Steam...
Spaghetti Noodles Apr 4, 2013 @ 2:46am
Yeah... MS Paint, GIMP or Tux Paint can do better than this combined. Also 4 - 10 Year Olds aren't allowed Steam accounts. This is just some crap image editor with the crayola labed slapped on it. This will never be Greenlit.
Cireler Mar 14, 2013 @ 7:09pm
Ok this steam would never allow this Lol..
celim Jan 28, 2013 @ 7:24pm
seriously man this is steam STEAM i never thought it would come to this

Paint - the best of the best.
mosaicorange Jan 17, 2013 @ 10:47pm
The packaging looks as if it were being marketed towards children and the images makes it look as if it were being marketed towards adults. Personally as an adult I wouldn't use a crayola product to make fliers for my personal business. However I do have two little kids that may enjoy this product, but I doubt they will be making fliers anytime soon.
Superuser Jan 11, 2013 @ 2:15pm
Who needs this when you have TuxPaint?! (free as in price and open source :) )
nicoper Jan 8, 2013 @ 10:18am
This looks like something for 3-6 year olds and I dont believe they have a steam account...
El Pollo Santos Dec 18, 2012 @ 10:39pm
Whats that old system for letting kids experiment with color... oh yeah, crayons. Wonder if Crayolla has heard of them.
gcollins  [author] Dec 13, 2012 @ 10:44am
The old Crayola program from the 1990's was discontinued long ago. These programs were created separately from the old Crayola product, and are far more sophisticated in functionality

gcollins  [author] Dec 13, 2012 @ 10:42am
All three program have similar features depending but not all the same features. That is why you have seen a similar image for all 3 can be created using any of them. :)

@vampirezio: This program is similar to the corefx Creative program, however, it has been created with a Crayola interface and populated with over 2000 unique Crayola images and templates. This program also includes all of the Crayola Art Studio features plus advanced draw and paint tools, 5 levels, animation tools, photo-editing tools, and additional skill building activities.
