Very nice. I enjoyed it.

Good map. Thanks

Great great map Azorae
Pamsy Jan 29, 2016 @ 9:33pm
Great map! And excellent warmup to "Pinpoint advanced". Hint: keep the cube in the chamber with the glass ceiling, even to lower and raise the elevator.
zigzagtenniscoe Aug 12, 2015 @ 1:41pm
Amazing map! This reminds me of one of Demon Arisen's maps (can't remember which) . But the concept used is pretty neat and I can see why it's called "Pinpoint"! Took me about 10 minutes to find the intended solution. Thanks for another great map :)

Nice puzzle Azorae!! Quality stuff, the kind that forces the player to stop and think and plan ahead. Between you and Mevious and LoneWolf and others, we are getting the very best maps to play. Thank you guys for your tremendous work.
Richard L Apr 11, 2015 @ 10:33am
I did manage to balance the cube on the upper stair and open the door.
akross.cs Mar 23, 2015 @ 8:53am
soo cool
Petutski Mar 14, 2015 @ 12:57pm
Excellent! Very tricky but ultimately clearly logical. Great fun, thanks!
Chelliste Oct 6, 2014 @ 5:08pm
I thought I had found an exploit, by balancing the cube on the angled stairs in the top level. But no matter what I did, I couldn't get the beam to stay steady on the receptor for more than a second. The cube would settle slightly when I released it and the beam would end up a couple inches away from the receptor. Seemed like I could make it happen if I tried long enough, but it was getting frustrating and the intended solution was easier!

A very smart puzzle. Thanks for the clues, other players!
lfairban May 18, 2014 @ 3:30pm
This one is very good! It took me quite a while to figure out.
z4rk Apr 11, 2014 @ 8:11am
this was a very interesting map i found a few weird possibilities in it when i finally figured out what i was supposed to do by leaving the cube in the glass room i stopped the nonsense and figured out how to create the final link. this map took me a little while
ken.roberts Feb 19, 2014 @ 1:35am
Masterful. Why? Because this map gave me fits - while all the while the solution was a piece of cake. 1 of every 10 maps has an "ahaaa" moment and I search for those. This had the "ahaaa" moment for me.
wildgoosespeeder Dec 5, 2013 @ 12:40pm
Now that I think about it, I think you should try to create a demo/training room, if possible.
wildgoosespeeder Dec 5, 2013 @ 12:44am
Read my profile before reading the rest of my comment!

Had to look at a solution video by KennKong. I've never seen that done before quite like that so I didn't think to do that. I knew what needed to get done to activate the door, but getting there I couldn't quite get working right. I was in the ballpark, but not quite. I always overlook details like that. Great puzzle.

Try my SP map?
Try my COOP map?
Snoodaard Nov 5, 2013 @ 11:21pm
Love it, wish I could think up something like this :)
Loveless Aug 12, 2013 @ 6:44am
Brilliant work.
Geneosis Jul 5, 2013 @ 11:07am
Another clever laser map ^^ Took me a moment to figure out, but the solution was not too hard in the end ;)
Tony Kanoli Apr 20, 2013 @ 3:10pm
Hints for those who are stuck

1 - You will need to bring the cube to the lower floor in order to correctly solve the puzzle (after you set everything up where it needs to be, you can always bring it back)

2 - Think about which portal you move when you want to raise the lift while standing on it. It doesn't make sense to keep the portal across from the laser beam as you can always re-apply that portal from above

3 - Use context. Why did the builder decide to use glass?
Tony Kanoli Apr 20, 2013 @ 3:05pm
Brilliant chamber. I knew what I had to do right away. But how to do it took some thinking. The end solution (but not necessarily the work that leads up to it) is very simple and doesn't involve any crazy laser angles.
Diego Mar 27, 2013 @ 4:52pm
Great Map.
Almisuifre Jan 18, 2013 @ 2:11am
Brillant, a pleasure to do !
KennKong Dec 5, 2012 @ 1:30pm
Something tells me this could be done in fewer portals, even without my misfires.

Decent map, but a little too easy... way to keep simple though
mo3b3tta Nov 17, 2012 @ 7:11pm
Very cleaver. I really enjoy a good challenge. Keep up the good work. I like the turret idea. I love playing with them. I create my first map with tons of turrets and jump gel, cuz I like watching them bounce around. Great job on your puzzle, I just subcribed to your channle.
TheGlecter Nov 17, 2012 @ 5:31pm
Awesome! This is probably the first non-Mevious thing that has blown my mind!
I'll definitely be checking out your other work... :)
esmo Nov 12, 2012 @ 7:48am
nice but needs turrets, lots of turrets. cheers
𝓛𝓟𝓒𝓱𝓲𝓹 Nov 11, 2012 @ 9:40am
Great map. I did see what I had to do, but somehow failed to see how to set my portals. It was not until I read Columbus's comment with spoiler that I got the AHA moment.
Stalker Nov 8, 2012 @ 12:27pm
Simple, but brilliant :)
Innocentive Oct 29, 2012 @ 9:44am
Brilliant puzzle ... compared to your other chambers I consider this one to be more on the easy side. Still, it's so nice to quickly get a grasp of what you need to do but somehow being unable to do it ... until you force your brain to make that one more connection than usually necessary. And that's what makes all your tests so special! Thanks!
ChaseRocker Oct 23, 2012 @ 1:54am
At first it seemed a bit too easy because I was just trying to angle the laser by letting the cube sit slanted on the stairs...and it was very close to aiming down and triggering the door. But I figured that wasn't your style (and I couldn't quite aim it right)...then I figured out the REAL solution. Great job!
madvtdm Oct 22, 2012 @ 5:12pm
Absolutely brilliant. I don't know how you come up with such good ideas. Some of your maps, I havn't yet been able to figure out... you have some of the most difficult maps I have tried, but when I succeed, it is so rewarding.
p0rtalmaster Oct 21, 2012 @ 9:18pm
It's amazing how such a simple test can fool many people simply because people are missing that small piece of the puzzle. It all comes down to figuring out how to connect two spaces using a pair of portals when you think about it!
CoachHines Oct 21, 2012 @ 8:47pm

Thanks! If you want more maps from me, you can check out the collection linked in the description.
Ser Ipsen Oct 18, 2012 @ 1:18pm
Favourited. This is immense. One cube and two portals, and I did the exact same as Columbus. Knew where I needed the portal, just couldn't get it right! Epic epic epic, well done champ!! Triple thumbs up, more please
zazaza Oct 18, 2012 @ 10:50am
Very good! At first I honestly thought that I needed to put the cube angled on the stairs, and it got me frustrated, haha. But I loved the solution! I'm gonna try your other maps now.
mausilibaer Oct 18, 2012 @ 3:51am
Great map, thanks.
𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗯𝘂𝘀 Oct 18, 2012 @ 3:24am
actually, i think i should send you a .dem to make sure i didn't find an exploit or something.
Mevious Oct 17, 2012 @ 8:42pm
Very good example of requiring reuse of a small number of elements.
Mothalius Oct 17, 2012 @ 8:35pm
I dunno how you do it man. You put the rest of us to shame, awesome map dude.
𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗯𝘂𝘀 Oct 17, 2012 @ 4:24pm
Was sort of easy. After reading Mathey's comment expected it to be hard, though. Although I cannot guess how hard it was to think of the puzzle. Anyway, the solution just came to me, when I realized that I had to bring the lift down somehow WITH a portal in that little room under the glass . Thumbs up for not making me angle a cube without the laser going through it.
Maserder Oct 17, 2012 @ 7:19am
jime im so proud of u
Mathey2009 Oct 16, 2012 @ 10:03pm
Dude I favorited this....I can not express how well thought out the map is...i've never ever had to think so much with portals in a map....I literally had to go through like 17 different portals to do this map.....different angles of the same section.....Wow....kudos man please teach me how to do maps so simple and yet that make u do so much portaling....
