I do have to say, I love the sketch of its parts, and how it should work. It would be a very interesting game mechanic, and with an upcoming spy vs. engineer update, It would be really cool to see this added in the game

this is amazing

If you scan a team mate for 2.5 seconds it will undisguise them if they are an enemy spy. and if you put your crosshair on an enemy for 1 second your sentry gun will attack them even if they are out of range.

Perhaps this weapon should come with a GUI that allows the engineer to select a class to project, similar to the disguise kit, if given the choice to use allied projections, maybe the projection would draw attention of enemy machines as well.

In my opinion, the thing on top should work as a scope/recording system, and when someone walks by it, it copies there information and a tiny picture of there class shows up on the screen, then you can use the recorder/scope to zoom in, find where you want to put it, and shoot, then it would make a hologram that shoots but does no damage. It will also work for enemies to lead them away from your engi camp by believing theres someone that way

Is the teleporter hookup so that it can create the image of whoever last used it? Love the idea of it making a hologram of a team member, it would have to do be used like the Halo decoy, drawing out enemies and getting them to attack the fake, not having any combat abilities of its own.

reminds me of garrys mod build tool, anyways, maybe a spy scanner, shoots a red screen of light that disables spy disguise kits for 1-20 seconds when it hits the spies?

when deployed, it lets out a beep detecting enemy spies, damage penalty of some sort. buildings take somewhat longer to construct. my opinion.

Maybe it could turn a building invisible, though under the effects the building wouldn't be able to do anything.
