The trick to get the first laser cube out of it's "prison" was too hard for me to figure out. After walking around aimlessly for way too long I watched the first few seconds of the video. After this I could do the rest on my own and the chamber flowed nicely.

This took me a very long time. And I did not even solve it the intended way. But great map.
You can just drop gel at the end and jump over the deadly water.

I began yesterday with a short session of twenty minutes. I easily managed to get the weighed cube and right before I quit I also had the reflector cube out of the fizzler network at the beginning of the map.
Today after work I tried the rest. However, after 10 minutes of playing I got talked into going out drinking. When I came back slightly drunk it took me another 1.5 hours to finish the map :D I think I would have been quicker had I been sober, but nevertheless, this map is totally awesome. I tried for some time to throw the cube in the end, but it never quite worked and in the end repeating an earlier step brought the final solution!
A very clever and enjoyable map and again favorited for a time, when I hopefully won't remember, what I did to solve it and can enjoy it again!

Seems some problems remain...can't get the jump to the wavy end - not enough power to fling to blue gel spot? Exit door doesn't open. Ca't get to second cube if first one is activating exit from first chamber area? Map has potential but needs more work...

About the cube throwing: I increased the distance so the cube throwing would be challenging to do and obviously not the right way to solve.

There is a gap in the glass that allows you to shoot a portal and get the weighted cube. I solved the end the same as toncica's spoiler, by throwing one cube up to block the laser I enjoyed, thanks.

Thanks stormsend for playing and commenting. If you want to know the intended solution then I suggest you look at the .dem file in the description. Deathwish did it a harder way and that's why I didn't put his play-through in the description.

I really struggled with this one. I enjoyed having my brain on overload most of the time. I liked the puzzle in the first chamber. I haven't seen that in a while so it took some time to get it. The jumping was cool in the next one. Then getting the gel where you needed it was a pain. I kept going back again because I'd figure out I needed it somewhere else. When I finally got to the exit I was stumped. I could see what it took to get out. I just couldn't see an easy way. After solving, I watched Deathwish's playthrough. If his soluution is the intended then I must say I'd never have done it. I thought of it but knew I couldn't do that. My solution involved coating a cube in gel and letting it bounce near the laser cube while I waited at the exit. It worked well and very quickly also. I always say, 'any port in a storm'. Thanks for the great map. See ya round the workshop.

I figured I missed something to make things convenient. :-) I just rush in and attack and do what first strikes me otherwise I'll start over thinking things and make myself go in circles (which I've done on far far easier maps lol). I givethis one about a medium difficulty for veterans and high difficulty for casual players. Well done. Try some of mine if you feel like it. I have something for just about everyone's taste. :p2turret:

Nice work DeathWish! when you got the jump you can use the cube on the angled panel to redirect it to the second cube. That way you don't have to destroy the cube and you can skip a lot of back and forth. You do need to get back once for the final puzzle though. and yes you broke the end ;)

solid medium difficulty, I got caught on the gel assisted jump ,didn't find the intended until my 4th idea. I ignored it but the exit door glitched and stuck open when I briefly directed the laser at the catcher. The exit room puzzle is good and reflects the non-linear nature of the map. cheers

I Consider myself a skilled player, but this map was the most 'difficult I have ever seen.

Sure. Really good test. It's still possible to do the thing at the end from my other demos, have all three cubes there in the exit room, one cube on the button, one cube to redirected the laser and one cube to throw into the laser while standing at the exit door. But I suggest you ignore that. It's not worth the hassle

No it's not hehe, it happent to me too. I think there are some weird things going on with the gravity when laser are pointed at a reflector cube.

The test looks good but I was struggling to find the intended solution. Cube jump? What, where? In the end I used the laser bridge from the start to lift the standard cube off the button in the exit room. And I didn't find a need to use the cube button to deactivate the first fizzler.

Took a little while to figure this one out. I'm pretty sure I solved this chamber the way it was inteneded to be solved. You have some nice idea's in this map and I enjoyed playing it.

i did it by jumping into the pit from the step under the solid cube and coming out of the floor two block frame higher next to the pit, then just before jump into the pit again with a bit more momentum i shoot a portal on the angle plate in mid air, but i admit it is painful to get back if you lose it.

The angle plate under the laser catcher was fun to solve and i use the portable surface in front of the light bridge to solve it.

Revision because there was suposed to be a grate in front of the light bridge wall. Guess I removed it somewhere in the process but did not noticed it :p

if the surface under the cube is not portable how do you solve the chamber wit the dropper? How did you make that jump?
I noticed that the angled panel can be a little unpredictable. Best way is to first use your solid cube to interrupt the laser then replace it for the reflector cube because you often activate the laser catcher again if you use the reflector cube. Besides that if you loose the solid cube you can easily get a new one.

cool test it took me a good hour , i really like to solve the normal cube jump, you can make it harder without the portable surface under the cube at this point.The laser puzzle was good , i merge one time with the angle pannel undr the laser catcher i had to restart to my save point, i didèt use the portable surface with the grating in the gel room, i use the light bridge to open the door but it was hard to execute. The backtracking was a bit painful but i still like you ;) or i complicate myself.
