What was the point of the X button that dropped down another cube on the button behind the glass to turn off the fizzler to the first room? You have no need to go back to that room once you get the cube out of it. Sorry I was on the fence on this one but I think I'm going to have to go with a thumbs down because of unneeded puzzle elements and pretty straight forward easy puzzle.

@Ravaged C'est un checkpoint au cas où tu détruits le cube dans le dernier champ d'énergie. tu n'as pas à le ramener du tout début avec ça. Ce n'est pas un bug. :-)

Je crois qu'il y a un bug dans celui-ci, ou plusieurs façons de le résoudre, car je ne me suis pas servi de l'avant-dernier reposoir de cube, qui désactive une paroi, je n'ai pas compris à quoi sert cette étape

By the way, to answer to your description on youtube, you did the test pretty well without missing important things. What you missed are escape ways to go back if you destroy the cube or get down in the first part.

Hello Franco. First, don't be affraid, i like constructive and argued comments like yours! :-)

The horizontal fizzler is here to harden the first step. You have to activate the timed button to use some gravity in a short period.

This was pretty good - although it took me a good few minutes of back and forth between the various rooms before I figured out what I was supposed to be doing (and I very nearly just gave up out of bewilderment). Not entirely sure you need the large fizzler in the first room, unless it was for a bit of extra 'colour' in the level (or, for that matter, the stairs and inclined bit). Please don't take my (I hope) minor criticisms the wrong way - it's a damn sight better than any of the levels I've tried to make!

@Sma_Omega : the button behind the glass is a checkpoint. It desables the first fizzler and ease the way comming back from start if you loose the cube. If you didn't used it, that's great!

I solved it without using that 1st slotted button thingie in front of some glass, which is in front of another button. I could tell I was supposed to put it there for some reason, but I never did.

Actually portal bump shortcuts are usually pretty easy to fix. Just make the walls surrounding glass and emansipation fields unportalable. Also the companion cube respawn button isn't timed. That makes it pointless since you can only press it once, making it respawn the cube only once.

Hello Mr. Johno. I will not handle this kind of glitches as long as it is a game bug. There is no proper way to go behind this glass without using some dark and unexpected behaviors of portals.

By the way, I made an update : more time on buttons, prevented an exploit and moved some things to ease the experience (lights block portals and it can be annoying)

Your maps become better and better.

Only one thing: I'm shure its possible to give us one or two seconds more time. The trick is then not easier but not so tiresome to do.

Hello Chiscringle. This is some kind of checkpoint. You have to get the cube behind the fizzler to desactivate it. You can destroy the cube in the last part of the puzzle and i thought it would be annoying to go back to start and do the puzzle again.

One question: Why was there a button to turn the emancipation grill off when the only way to turn it off was to have the cube on the other side already?
Otherwise another good part to the series.

A bit tricky until you figure out you have to bring the companion cube along.

I guess that's why it's called a companion cube. Thumbs up, for definite.
