Very nice map with clever cube remote manipulation!
BUG 9 Σεπ 2015 στις 11:58
I like it.Thanks for the fun.
Watilin 5 Σεπ 2015 στις 11:09
I played Strategy 3 before this one :P This one is easier. Myabe a little short, but as a tutorial it fits its role perfectly.

I somehow got 8 of your maps in my queue from somewhere and they were all good. Will definitely check out some more as I get time. Well done!

Dide I just watched the videos....and that is the intended way....I dont know why u would rather want a glass to cover the slantted panel when ur standing on the button, u only have to go a little to the left afterwards and shoot the portal to make the cube come to the funnel...it doesnt matter if people do 1 or 2 or 3 or 0 osccilations....its the way they do it....and thats the way its intended
Mathey2009  [Δημιουργός] 30 Οκτ 2012 στις 5:56
@Calmly Frenetic:
Thanks man!
Mathey2009  [Δημιουργός] 29 Οκτ 2012 στις 16:32
@Calmly Frenetic:
Ok I think I understand now. Can u record a demo and post it here showing how u can skip the purpose of the maps title?
Calmly Frenetic 29 Οκτ 2012 στις 14:53
I mean the panel that flips out to an upward-facing angle.
Mathey2009  [Δημιουργός] 29 Οκτ 2012 στις 6:25
@Calmly Frenetic:
Idk what u mena by flipped panel since there is not a single flipped panel in this chamber. But, shooting a portal to the ceiling where the faith plat get u to is while standing on the red button is the intended solution, so i cant put a glass to prevent that.
Calmly Frenetic 28 Οκτ 2012 στις 23:27
Rather than moving the button , it might be easier to add some more glass so that a portal can not be shot at the flipped panel when standing on the button. That should guarantee at least one oscillation.
Mathey2009  [Δημιουργός] 28 Οκτ 2012 στις 9:29
@Calmly Frenetic:
Thanks man, I usually do my maps so the name revelas something important about the puzzle involved in it.
Where would u rather put the button?
Calmly Frenetic 27 Οκτ 2012 στις 22:05
If you do the end quickly, the title of the map doesn't need to be used in the solution. You could probably move the button to make it more likely. I enjoy those moments when a title reveals itself within a map. :)
Mathey2009  [Δημιουργός] 20 Οκτ 2012 στις 12:37
@Dreamer ( Portal 2Maping):
Well I watched the video and it's not exactly an unintended solution, yes, there's a bit where u shoot a portal from the edge of the goo pit...but the rest is ok.
Doom Pie 20 Οκτ 2012 στις 10:59
its took me FOREVER (5 frustrating minutes) to get that last part. Then i realized that you could put the cube on the ground
machmanx 18 Οκτ 2012 στις 21:46
This was one of your easier chambers, but that's why it's called a tutorial. Easy to figure out but still required some thinking. Can't wait to see what this leads to :)

@[GWJ] kexx :
Dman....thats a good feedback....thanks a lot for all the support, I apreciate it very much man, glad u liked it.
U should play Strategy 4: Knockoff....its the same idea as a small map with few elements.
[GWJ] Kexx 11 Οκτ 2012 στις 23:00
Nice little map here. A proof that a good map doesn't necessarily require large spaces or numerous items. I tend to make larger maps, so I always enjoy those who can come up with smart concepts with as little as possible. You've done well in the use of simplicity. The lighting is good, the design is sound, and the mechanic employed for the solution is smart. I enjoyed this. Thank you for building.
Mathey2009  [Δημιουργός] 11 Οκτ 2012 στις 10:24
There, I just made a fix on that issue.
I also made some design upgrades as well.
The map is a lot better now.
Mathey2009  [Δημιουργός] 11 Οκτ 2012 στις 9:15
@Totoro:
Well, throwing a cube is never an intended solution...but suit yourself.
Bil 11 Οκτ 2012 στις 8:59
easy way: simply shoot a floor portal and one on the final panel that is yet to be put at an angle, jump in and throw the cube into the excursion funnel. whole chamber takes 10 seconds.
Jotta 10 Οκτ 2012 στις 13:31
really good one now i follow you.

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=101953260 would you try my new test? I really want to know what you think

@Stric_Matic:
Thank you.....yeah it's a cool way to do it.
Please try to write with format for spoilers.
Stric_Matic 10 Οκτ 2012 στις 12:28
Liked the way you had to drop the cube on the Faith Plate without leaving the button.

- Testing: Fizzlers/Cubes/Buttons/Funnels and their applications in the field of science.
- Difficulty: Medium - Very Hard
- Estimated time to complete: between 5 minutes and 1 hour.
The other chambers are even better, it is harder and more elegant, with no fancy tricks or unconventional methods here.
Thanks again, and here my solution to this chamber: http://youtu.be/wkBWOzF5bAs

Play the 3rd part of the Strategy collection, it's even better.
stormsend 8 Οκτ 2012 στις 12:00
Did a lot of thinking while standing on that button. It finally came to me. Very nice puzzle and well laid out. Thanks.
Splatadude 8 Οκτ 2012 στις 9:08
Very easy due to a lack of possible options that can't work giving only the one option than clearly can.
Senor Bones 8 Οκτ 2012 στις 8:53
Clever, really made me think.
