FIXED IT! :D
I ended up clicking 'no' when prompted with the mention message[after clicking continue from the main menu], and then it took me to character creation where I quickly made a new character [random start mod gets rid of the lengthy intro scene], then loaded my other save from the load menu. It still prompted me with the same message, but it disappeared immediately this time and loaded my save. :)
Captain Feather Jul 20, 2013 @ 10:48pm
Yes, I had already tried that. If I try to load the game without this mod activated, it either crashes to desktop, or freezes at "This save relies on content that is no longer present", at which point I have to close it via task manager.
I have tried it without this mod activated while the updated version for Dragonborn was activated, and with neither activated, but I ran into the same problem.

@Captain
Sure you really de-install the mod corectly? You will have to unsubscribe and remove the .esp file. Also, try to play your game without any version of the mod installed, save it, then subscribe to the updated version.
Captain Feather Jul 20, 2013 @ 12:44am
When I try to install the updated mod, then uninstall this one, my game crashes when loading a save that previously used this mod.

wills till?
you mean "will still"
PrivateEye  [author] Mar 21, 2013 @ 2:22am
This version is no longer supported anymore. You should subscribe to one of the new updates to get new content. Check the description above on how to do that.

Hi! First I wanna say that this is a awesome mod! But, ive encountered a tiny bug, not a big problem, but kinda annoying... Often, when i enter a new area, or simply when im walking through skyrim/solstheim, after i turn around, i find a nordic shortspear , spawned there... Im not sure if im haunted by it, but it sure is creepy XD
nhaugen64 Mar 4, 2013 @ 9:23am
Is this compatible with Duel - Combat Realism 5?
FishMcCray Feb 26, 2013 @ 4:48am
Do you have a dragonborn version out?
Goat R@ge! Feb 24, 2013 @ 5:00pm

Whats a good smithing addon to go with this?
Crooked Smiles Feb 18, 2013 @ 12:25am
Hate to be a beggar but do you think you can include one handed hammers as well, I'm a huge fan of this mod and I love your digital smithing, but regretably I had to drop a mod that gave me one handed hammers due to an unexplainable uncompatability with the Dragonborn DLC and your the only other modder I consider for weapon mods.
Mr. Orange Feb 15, 2013 @ 3:33am
Looks like a nice mod. Can't use it though, makes the game crash after bethesda logo
Goat R@ge! Feb 14, 2013 @ 11:33am
@PrivateEye
Nice! And thnx for the quick answer :) i realy look forward to test this mod, looks awsome :P
PrivateEye  [author] Feb 14, 2013 @ 11:30am
@Goat R@ge!
Yes, should be no problem

@kenneth
Yes, working on an update which will be done in a few weeks hopefully
Goat R@ge! Feb 14, 2013 @ 11:28am
Does this mod work with the dragonborn DLC? :)
kennethmallonen Feb 14, 2013 @ 10:33am
will you be updating to dragonborin?
Codo Feb 13, 2013 @ 5:15pm
Alrighty, thank you. As again, I am a summoner, and while I -do- fight on my own too with Bound Weapons, it's just that: I never carry weapons on me, simply because I only need my summons, as well as stealth+bow or dual-sword flurry... So to have a summonable spear would just blow my mind, honestly. :D The only thing cooler would be a summonable shield, but eh, not holding my breath on that.
[FP] ChaoticSlink Feb 13, 2013 @ 3:40pm
The next update should be Dragon born. Id love a Stalhrim spear and such.
PrivateEye  [author] Feb 13, 2013 @ 11:14am
@Codo
I'm considering it. Maybe for next update, or one after that.
Codo Feb 12, 2013 @ 7:46pm
Will there be any Bound versions of any of these? D: I'm a summoner, and I love to have these kind of things, so summoning a few critters and then pulling out my own bound Short spear and shield is just too cool, and I would like to know!
USFPutty Feb 9, 2013 @ 8:39am
Was it absolutely necessary to take all the screenshots in a dark basement?
PrivateEye  [author] Feb 6, 2013 @ 8:41am
Starting now I'll slowly be revealing bits and pieces of the next big HA update! Want to stay up to date? Follow me on Twitter ! I already revealed a first sneak peek there :)
Boxy0512 Feb 5, 2013 @ 11:03pm
I absolutely LOVE coming across weapons from this mod! Playing as an archer doesn't change how much fun it is to see more than warhammers, swords and axes in the game. An incredible mod. I'd reccomend it for anyone, no matter if you fight using the included weapons or not.
Ian Frederick Feb 5, 2013 @ 6:40pm
Ok, I unsubscribed from the Vanilla one. If there are any issues I will get back to you.
Also, just a suggestion for future mods; if possible, you should really work on a mod adding multiple new shields to the game.I have spent hours looking through the Workshop's mods, and there are only a few that add shields, aside from terribly designed ones. If someone were to make a mod adding a large selection of shields, with lots of different colors it would be an extremely popular mod. I would think most other Skyrim players such as myself enjoy mods that give you more armors to pick from. The problem is, almost all of them are only armors and do not add shields, along with none of the games original shields matching them. If someone were to add a bunch of shields with a variety of different shades of steel, I am positive that almost all the people downloading armor mods would flock to download it. Just a suggestion, but anyway great job on this mod I truly love it, keep up the good work!
Theodoric Feb 2, 2013 @ 1:30pm
Are you going to make a version incorporating the Dragonborn sets (Nordic, Stalhrim), and if so, how long do you think it will take you? 3 months?
PrivateEye  [author] Feb 2, 2013 @ 3:06am
You should use one of the two, so if you start using this one, unsubscribe to the vanilla version.
Ian Frederick Feb 1, 2013 @ 11:36pm
I am pretty sure I had the vanilla version, and than I purchased Dawnguard. I'm pretty sure that worked fine, and now I just noticed this mod as well so I am just wondering if I subscribe to this one along with your original, will one counter the other or can they both co-exist? Is there anything I should be concerned with and/or should I unsubscribe to one? Please get back to me, thank you. Btw, Love the mod. (if I'm thinking of yours that I've been using and not someone elses...I've downloaded quite a few and it's hard to keep track now)
Der_Kman! Feb 1, 2013 @ 12:01pm
Hey if i use the vanilla version with dawngaurd intalled with there be issues?
Wendersnaven Jan 29, 2013 @ 9:47pm
This is great and stays true to the vanilla vision. No conflicts, and good variety.
bryan9315 Jan 28, 2013 @ 3:30pm
are there console commands for these weapons?
CABAL Jan 13, 2013 @ 5:28pm
Just wanted to say I like your weapon mods alot. Bringing back some of the one-of-a-kind, artifact/legendary weapons is a great idea. I also wanted to make a request, could you make Jyggalag's sword from TES4: Shivering Isles? I was one my favorite weapons from back in day. Other then that keep up the good work. :)
PrivateEye  [author] Jan 6, 2013 @ 11:19am
Dear HA users. If you have a minute or two to spare I would like to ask you to fill in this short survey. I'm very interested in your opinion on the mod, suggestions you might have and the things I should do with it in the future. Take you chance and have a say in what happens next! Thanks a bunch y'all;)

A fist full of Septims Dec 27, 2012 @ 10:04am
Would you consider adding Dragonbone Katana, Dai-Katana, and Tanto?
Tom an' that Dec 22, 2012 @ 11:45am
I'm not entirely sure whether it's because of this mod, but every so-often, since downloading it, i've encountered skeletons that seem to be absurdly high-level, and I think they usually carry the ancient nord weapons from this mod. On another note, would it be possible to include a variety of 'dawnguard' weapons, as in the ones that do more damage to vampires? :}
Keizerdoc Dec 10, 2012 @ 6:19pm
With this mod installed, the Imperial Captain won't move.
historyjonathan Nov 30, 2012 @ 10:12pm
I would love to see some work with some akaviri weapons like dai katanas, nodachis, wakizashis, naginata or yari spears. These type of weapons would be a great addition thank you for your consideration
Professor Slam Nov 30, 2012 @ 6:58am
@xXLinkXx no...no turtles
BobOfAllTrades Nov 29, 2012 @ 6:44pm
Great mod, I love how you use the bits and pieces to make your weapons to make it lore friendly. My only request is if you could make animations for the spears and glaives, to make them more stabby at that.
xXLinkXx Nov 26, 2012 @ 5:50pm
PRIVATE EYE, you make all my favorite mods! I'm a serious fan of you! If you could, make a more animals mod........ and include a turtle :3
FairysHuff Nov 17, 2012 @ 12:22am
I am hoping for a Japanese Naginata mod for Skyrim but have yet to find one. Your mod is the closest I've found. Hopefully you will be able to find someone who can help change the combat animations for weapons like spears and halberds so that they don't have to use the standard animations for heavy axe, sword etc. That always looks very weird.
Also if anyone knows of a mod that will allow me to dress my character in a Japanese Miko (Shinto Buddhist Preistess) outfit let me know. Thanks.
Timesplitter Nov 9, 2012 @ 6:50pm
Also, I need a professional modder, if you're interested, that can make a very well balanced magic spells collection that will fit perfectly with the orginal Skyrim spells. I am looking for spells that are very well balanced, do not cost too much magicka, are not too overpowered (powerful), and must make sense being added into the game by even Bethesda itself. The spells must be used with perks (adept, novice, etc.), must be logically categorized for a school of magic (Destruction, Conjuration, etc.), must be sold by the correct vendors when the certain school of magic reaches a certain skill point (At 50 destruction, new books are available for purchase by all Destruction trainers that can train you past 50 Destruction), and MUST fit in will with the rest of Skyrim spells. Btw, thx for the mod and please keep updating it. I look forward to seeing your updates and improvements.
Timesplitter Nov 9, 2012 @ 6:50pm
Hey, Great Job on the mod. Just wanted to let you know to keep up on all the updates and improvements of your mod for I am using it in the top rated collection at the moment. Check out "Skyrim Top Of The Line RPG Experience Guaranteed". Been working on it 24/7 and definitely plan on keeping it as up to date as possible with all mods added in the collection.

Eclipse Raven Nov 6, 2012 @ 12:53am
At first glance, I was surprised by how well this was done, but when I saw you were the same person who made the Ashland Amulets, it all made sense. xD Finally, just the weapons I was looking for....
