A bit confusing at times, but it was ok, I especially liked the ending, even though i died the first time i tried it (thank you quick save). one thing was busted though, the high angled pannel near the propulsion gel had some thing stopping me from going through it fast, a crouch right before i got there worked, but I don't think it's supposed to be like that. 8.5/10

Although BEE2 is an easy way to make Underground levels, it's good to play levels made in Hammer that are expertly crafted. This is a good example of one. I like the reuse of the gel pipes between different parts of the test and the use of the test sphere's damage to add challenge. Well done!

There was one panel I never had to use, so that kinda confused me. Probably just multiple ways to solve this map, which is good. Finding alternate ways is rewarding. Still, I'm so curious what that panel was for...

Immersive and well crafted architecture. I found some misses though and the level design let me get to some areas earlier than I suppose you wanted me to. None the less I managed to get myself around the puzzles and found them satisfying. I'm creating a puzzle myself in Hammer and that could be a reason why I scrutinize the custom levels I play. And I have to admit - of all the custom levels I tried I have to say this puzzle might find a place among the top. Well done and thank you.

Its good that its one of those testmaps you could fly through, it really has the "wait a minute..." factor to click what to do... very good map.

Pretty good, but I had to noclip instead of use the panel that flips up when you press the button in the office, I just simply can't aim and place a portal on it, then get through the other portal I placed in the office before the time runs out, even with the office covered in speed gel. If the button timer was longer (or preferbaly had no timer at all), that would be perfect. I still give it a thumbs up though.

Nice challenge!

I thoroughly enjoyed this! The circuitous way you reused territory was just the right amount of misleading. The way you used the falling panel was great, a real surprise in an otherwise quiet area. Looking forward to more.

@Neksus: HOOOOOOOOW. I'm really confused how you bounced on the blue paint through the grate. Thanks for pointing that out, though. Loved the very end. You wizard.

@ Neksus: Fixed.

Very nice! You captured the atmosphere of the 70's Aperture spheres very well. Thanks for making this.

@deminchenro: Put blue gel on the platform in the middle. Then put your portal on that panel, go back to the orange gel runway and use it to launch yourself up through the ceiling.

Great map but I am completely stuck on the part in the third picture. Everything I've tried hasn't worked. I don't want to abandon it so could anyone please offer me some help?

really good retro chamber. I liked the gameplay and the design.

A chamber with style and substance, love the little office with it's broken windows. The puzzles are just taxing enough to make it fun to play. Good science! ;)

Hey! This is great! I love the use of the gels.
I made a new map as part of FastTrack! Try it out!

This map needs more subscribers, great work in hammer and love the hidden companion cube I'd like to know what you think about my collection? Leave a comment if you wish good or bad :) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=101674139

Great map! I enjoyed it, but I didn't like the fact that getting stuck was possible. Also, there were several buttons I couldn't find the purpose for, which was pretty frustrating. I hit the top level of the elevator :)

Awesome job, found the Companion Cube as well!

The only slight complaint is that a certain fling requires you to jump up while diving into the pit and not just plunge into it - you can end up not flying far enough and dying in goo. Might be a bit of an annoyance to players.

Nice map! Didn't use the tilted panels...nor the button/sliding door!
Please try one of mine
DaveyPoo 10 de Oct, 2012 a las 9:13
This was fantastic. Just the right difficulty and length. It should have been in Portal 2.

Wow, I left town for the weekend and returned to this! Thanks for the kind words! I will see if I can't fix and improve some aspects of the map. I believe the reason it was tagged with 'faith plate' -- automatically -- is because it uses part of the faith plate's logic to ensure consistent flings in certain areas.

EvanED, the only thing you did that took me by surprise was jumping back into the tilted panel at 1:18 in your video.

<Moving-DEATH>, I didn't want to make the map completely safe and fool-proof, but I understand that dying can certainly be frustrating. Some other people have mentioned having to jump through certain portals for the physics to work correctly. I'll have to look into that.
Le Petit Mort 8 de Oct, 2012 a las 18:33
• Great retro theming;
• Spectacular geometry and puzzling;
• Flings aplunty;

• Occasional death on error;
• Have to jump, not drop, into some flings;

Add a thematic element and you've got yourself a campaign level.
