Just A Fling [HARD]

Опис
A fling here, a fling there - flings everywhere. Here you get to use many of the known fling mechanics of portal. Prepare to think with portals!

The cube can be gotten through a glitch on the first island. Because glitching is not part of the game mechanics, I ignored that.

Please comment after you play this map. If you happen to find an exploit please be so kind as to record a demo. Google it, if you don't know how to do that.

Update Jun-13:
Changed the upper floor layout a bit again, to make the last jump easier. Added many useless portal-surfaces.

Update Jun-14:
Added a barrier, so that the button-hopping glitch doesn't kill you. Widened the activatable angled panel so it is easier to hit.

Update Jun-20:
Added a fizzler and removed portal surfaces to inhibit an exploit using a bridge to get upstairs.

Update Sep-30:
Changed the connection visibility to lead the player along. Minor changes to the design.

I loved this map - a lot of cool flings there! I didn´t use the timer button though..
when standing on the lightbridge (facing the pedestal button(timer)) you can shoot a portal at the wall behind/above you while jumping off the bridge,and fling yourself over..
I hope to see more maps like this in the future

That was definitely not intended and I just reproduced it myself. I won't fix that tonight, but I will look into it over the weekend.

I was refering to powerhouse which was easy in compairson. I used a lightbridge to get up to top platform from the bottom angled plate it didnt feel as it was the intended solution

@Vik: Which map do you refer to, since there are 2 called "very hard" in my workshop?
I did test this map before I published it. I am not the master of exploits, so I most probably missed some. Thanks to allstarb and XLR8br I could fix most exploits. If you found any other exploit, please be so kind as to tell me about it, so I can fix that, too.

(I hope you played the newest version, because I updated it 8 times by now)

Ok I finally beat this map. Got a feeling I was using exploits though. Stupid hard map your other map that you called very hard was a walk in the park compared to this one. Oh and did you test this map before publishing it?

Ok, I updated it again. Now Allstarb's solution doesn't work anymore.
If you get stuck on the very last jump: You have to place a portal while in the air on the second-to-last jump.

Please tell me, if you find any new exploits because of the new portal surfaces, but there shouldn't be any.

No, actually there is a better solution, but now I know what to do to discourage your solution.

I am always torn between making a really hard, but solvable map, and leading the player to the intended solution.
General question to everyone: What is the balance you prefer here?
