its not a bug if they intended for them not to be able to be improved

@British-Warrior I do not believe that I have any mods that affect weapons yet, before I got the patch from Bethesda, I could temper anything just fine even wuuthrad, but after a certain point I could no longer temper any legendary or unique items. It may have been a choice on bethesdas part, but i don't agree with it. Does anyone else have this problem?

Im sorry but i dont know why thats happened is their any mods currently installed that are conflicting with other mods or does any of the mods have bugs that do this.

@British-Warrior Re: yes i have the full smithing tree unlocked and i can temper everything to legendary so this would be a great mod so that i can actually use those unique items, but for some reason none of them even show up when i go to temper a weapon or armor

Great idea, was really annoyed Wuthrad couldnt be tempered at all.

well thats understanderble, but remeber that at my lvl 81 even it has 33 damge and 66 with full enhancments, but thats fine. still got speed and unlimited charges

Ive checked with the wiki and the game, but the Ebony blade was intentionally made to not be upgraded due to two reasons. 1- the blade couldnt be destroyed even in the skyforge meaning tempering the item isnt possible because its pretty much indestructible. 2- the blades damage improves by killing npc's you have done favors for. my reason being making this weapon able to be tempered would be a cheat not a bug fix so i or someone will have to make a mod on better daedric artifacts or something like that sorry.

full smithing perks buddy, but still no temper for ebony blade
