In the northern forest, there would be glaciers where wild magic in the old earth have permanently encrusted that earth with ice. Karroch is a wild man with little need of complicated tools of goblin folk or the sorcery of wizards.When he needs a tool his animal companions lead him to peddlers, or more often, abandoned ruins of war. There he finds an ice pickaxe that is suitable for both needs of battle and climbing up the ice walls of the frozen north.
