Upon discovering the recovery of the treacherous Shadow Demon, Lucifer sought out the incomplete blob that would be the our demon as we know him. From the deepest level of Hell he crafted a encumbering metallic collar, and on it he arranged the darkest and most accursed inscriptions, all to weaken Shadow Demon before he was back in power. He adorned what would soon be a head with this heavy brace, and though it did slow down his return for a time, Shadow Demon's influence stretches down to the deepest of hollows. The most powerful and knowledged of his disciples emerged from hiding, answering the call of his lord, and thus the brace was disenchanted and Shadow Demon's growth resumed, at the cost of the disciple's life. "A small sacrifice," he thought, "to be of service to my lord." He now wears the collar in arrogance, proof that none may hold him back.
