OK, tried it again, and it coupled up this time. I am not keen on single track running, but this one I liked. Loved the fact that I had to wait for various signals, to allow for oncoming trains to pass. This scenario, and all three parts, are highly recommended.

Tradgedy!. I got all the way to Castle Douglas, and could not couple to the train standing in the station. I tried everything, but could not make it work. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The service 7 was ok when I play the game. The first 8 min. was brilliant with all the A1 trains

Der Service 7 ist ein bissl komisch. Bei manchen scheint er zu funktionieren, bei anderen nicht. Warum weiß ich leider nicht -- für alle, die nicht selbst editieren wollen, gibt es sonst noch das die alternative Version dieses Szenarios ("pt. 2 alt."), ebenfalls ohne den problematischen Service. ///
That service 7 is really strange. It seems to work for some, not at all for others. No idea why. For all who don't want to edit the scenario, an alternative version ("pt. 2 alt.") has been supplied that also runs without the offending service.

Habe den Zug "Service 7" mit RWTools gelöscht. Danach läuft das Szenario
ohne Fehler. Ansonsten genauso gut wie Part 1. Danke
I deleted the train "Service 7" with RWTools. Then run the scenario
without error. Otherwise as good as part 1 thanks

The opening moments of this scenario present a brilliant display of AI capabilities and techniques. Well done, indeed!!!

That (in theory) shouldn't happen. I've used a lot of static consists and live AI at the start location, if your PC is at lower end of the minimum specs you may have to lower your graphics settings to get the scenario to load.
