Adds mass smelting recipes to the smelter, and a mass leather strip recipe to the tanning rack.
Recipes are for 10, 25, and 50 ingots respectively.
Leather strip recipes are 40, 100, 200.

Recipe also added for combining corundum ingots and iron ingots into steel ingots, in 10-20-50 quantities. This specific recipe requires steelsmithing perk

I'm thinking I'll take the idea of the mass-strips and remove them, adding them into a leather-based one. I'll probably also change that one to be 5 into 20, since 100 feels too much as I keep playing.

A good idea for convenience, but since we were talking about in-game vs. real life size and capability etc... I would like to mention that "tanning" a hide and making leather out of it should take a LOT longer than it does.. but that would make the game pretty angering if you had to go sleep for five days for a hide to cure hahaha...

Anyway, just wanted to mention that I liked that this mod was for smelting, but I don't like that it has the leather "mass strip" included... personally think that should be a completely seperate mod. I want individual mods that do individual things. As I said in a previous post, the in game graphic for the smelter would denote the ability to mass smelt. So, this mod makes the game MORE realistic, though also more convenient. But, not when you add the mass leather.

Please seperate the mods. One for the leather, one for the ore. I've had you subbed for a long time.

That's a good idea.

Thank you for this. I am a compulsive miner and smelting all that ore into ingots got real teadious real fast. Now all I would like to see is something similar for animal pelts. Yes I pile up pelts like I do ore.

Oh, I did remove gold and silver from needing a side, it's there with iron.

Aaaacccctually..... hahaha. If you look in game, the smelter they use is more than big enough to smelt-en-mass. Your mod seems very natural for smelting and single smelting (vanilla) seems very UN-natural. As to why I was looking for a mod like this.

So, basically what I'm saying is based on the actual smelter graphic in the game and the ammount of friggin coal they shovel into it haha. One slave could smelt all the ore in skyrim in about ten minuets with the mental capacity of an orc that was dropped on his head as a child.

I'm tellin ya, smelting is easy, no matter if it's a little bar or flowing like lava. The "smelter" does all the work, not the "smelter worker".

The main point I was trying to make is that there are MANY people using smelting that could benifit from this mod that would NEVER go up that side of the perks. That's all I'm sayin :P

I honestly think it shouldn't require perks at all, just sayin XD

I'll most likely move the silver and gold to the bottom level, does make a bit more sense there.
The reason behind each requiring a perk, however, is that we aren't talking about high-tech here. While slaves and the unskilled are indeed commonly smelting, they aren't smelting 50 plus at a time, perhaps one or two. Since the smelter is only so large, I figure the only way one could make more at a time would be to break out more of the rock, which requires a bit more skill.

That said, I'll see how it works a few play throughs. Doesn't seem like a large barrier since you can't use the bars until you have the proper perk.

"Gold and silver require advanced armors."

This should be under "Steel" not "Advanced Armors". You obvioulsy play a light armor character. Steel is an "alloy" and requires you smelt two bars, one of each metal needed to form the alloy. It makes perfect sense that as you would learn to create an alloy you might learn better to smelt in masses. It makes no sense what-so-ever to force people to wait to mass-smelt a material until they've learned how to craft armor with it. They are completly different sciences. That's why you don't learn blacksmithing when you smelt and why slaves and prisoners are made to smelt, but a skilled worker uses the forge.

Remove the perk requirement or put all the requirements under steel wich makes more sense. Other than that, great mod, waiting to see if you "fix" it's annoyance before I subscribe.

I just use macro keys, but this is a cool mod.
