Cairn of the Winter King

คำอธิบาย
Relive the Dungeons&Dragons adventure "Cairn of the Winter King" using the Legend of Grimrock setting. Can you defeat the recently unthawed king and his army?

P.S:This is my second dungeon, my first being "Halls of the Lich King". I did what I could to take the Cairn of the Winter King and transfer the adventure here. Good luck and it would be nice if I got some feedback from everyone of inprovements. If you have the Dungeons&Dragons adventure, just look at the map and hopefully you can find your way around in here easy.

V1.0 Initial Release Looking for feedback before any updates.
Currently working on updating this with custom content, currently putting my other mod, "Tower of the Dragon God", on hold for the time being, won't have much time to put in the extreme amount of work for that large project, so in the mean time I can work on my smaller mods some, such as this one. So if there is anything wrong you would like to mention, please send a comment, as I am going to be doing work on this mod in the near future.

Yeah sorry for those who were wanting to see this (and my other projects) finished, unfortunately I haven't really updated my mods since 2013-2014ish and will probably not be finishing them. Goodness, to think that I uploaded these back in 2012-2013 or so, time really does fly lol! I'm surprised that people are still playing old Legend of Grimrock, I actually loaded up the game out of nostalgia the other day actually and seen my several yet-finished workshop items. At this point I probably won't be going back to working with these, but who knows, I might come back and make an update here or there. It is really just a thing of time at this point, with increased age comes increased responsibility lol, and between family and work there hasn't been nearly as much free time as I had when I was younger to work on these mods.

How many levels is this mod? I've cleared 3 and have nowheres to go? Am I missing something?

Part 2
One of my big gripes is that early on dagger and throwing weapon users get a bit shafted, as there are no weapons available for them till the second floor.
In case it matters my party consisted of two fighters, one focused on unarmed fighting and the other on swords. I had a dagger and throwing weapon focused rogue and a fire/ice mage. I had the fighters equip the plate armour even though it gave a penalty to evasion, as the protection it gave was worth it. If you play smart and use the terrain to your advantage you can win this starting from level one.
I thoroughly enjoyed this dungeon though, it was short simple and fun.

Commenting here to give some feedback. I didn't read the disclaimer so i started this dungeon with level 1 characters. The beggining was kind of difficult but i did not give up. If you play it smart you can beat this entire map from starting at level 1. I made it the the winter king and I had almost killed him at about level 6. After kiting for a long time i had dealt about 1040 damage to him but then i died. So i decided to re import my save and grind the dungeon again for another level or two. This wasn't necessary it just made the fight a lot easier. If i had kept going I could have done it on the first runthrough.

I believe that custom music can be used in LoG, but didn't really think about adding any to this particular dungeon, maybe I will edit it and add some in. Thanks for the suggestion that you mentioned below, I will look into it.

Thats a cool idea portable D&D map games into LoG.
Maybe you need Music for your Dungeon (I make game music and finished a bigger games music for a steam release and have now time for fun :-)).
I dont know if you can include game music in LoG.

Thank you, I was thinking of going back and recreating this mod using some custom assets that I have created, but think that I will leave this one as is for now. I have had the idea of working on another Dungeons&Dragons themed dungeon, but haven't gotten around to it. Let me know if there is a dungeon or adventure that you would like me to make, and I will see what I can do :-).
