A Song of Time - Simple Slow Time Lesser Power

I made this very much for my own personal use, however I thought I would share it here.


WHAT:

What mod does is simply add a lesser power into the game which can stop time for 10 seconds.

It is a very very minimalist power. No fancy visuals, just stops time dead.



WHY:

Yeah there are heaps of mods that add SPELLS that stop time, but ones that add LESSER POWERS are few and far between.

No more messy switching in between spells and weapons. You can use this power whilst drawing your bow, or even whilst jumping.



VERY IMPORTANT NOTES! READ ALL:

As is the case with all time-altering mods, there is a risk of being stuck in time slow state forever. Included in this mod is a second power called 'Song of Balance' which when used will 99% of the time restore the flow of time to normal. However it is unlikely to ever experience this bug if you are smart about what you do when you are in time slow mode.

Picking up books is a bad idea. Dont do it.

Using the archery perk which causes slow mo when you zoom in isnt reccommended.

Using the slow time shout or any other time slow spell, when in time slow mode is just stupid.

Killcams can sometimes be a bit buggy, but usually its fine.

Its good to wait a few seconds after coming out of time slow before using the power again. If you use it whilst time is still in the porcess of speeding up, you will definately cause it to last forever. This can be fixed with the other power however.

Don't try to change your camera zoom level or switch between 1st and 3rd person.

Dont try to get onto a horse in slow mo. Usually it doesnt result in a bug, but it wont let you on anyway.

Dont change cells (go through load doors) in slow mo.

Archery is a lot of fun in slow mo. You can literally fire up to five arrows a once.

Destruction spells are also great fun.

Lockpicking, opening chests, looting bodies and picking up items (except books) are all fine. There may be a delay with opening of chests and doors however, but it is unlikely for the bug to occur.

This is also a modder's resource. If you want to use these two spells, feel free. Just be sure to give me credit and send me a message telling me if you do! (Basically so I can scope your mod!)

HOW TO GET:

To actually get the powers, you will need to use the console. Just type:

help ''song of''

and it will give you the codes to use. They will look like this

xx000D64 for SOT
xx009EE0 for SOB

where xx is the number of the mod in your load order (in hexidecimal). Then type:

player.addspell xx000D64
player.addspell xx009EE0

(but replace the xx whith whatever it is in your game) and you will be given the two powers. The two powers are called 'Song of Time' and Song of Balance'.
