Franken-Cube Redemption

描述
Long ago before Wheatley resumed production of them, the now beloved Franken-Cube was considered a abomination to cubes everywhere, a engineering "mistake" that needed to be removed from the warehouses. Never to be allowed to reach the blue ascension funnel that took cubes to the upper areas to the testing facilities. Never to be used and loved by testers in search of companionship. Never to be allowed to fulfill thier true destiny in science.

Until one day a brave and brazenly trespassing individual happened upon this horrendous and senseless slaughter and decided this heinous act must be stopped.

This is his story....

Easy, but quick and fun, so thumbs up.

My map With a Little Help From My Friends relies totally on a frankencube walking a straight line and this was very hard to get 100% reliable until I started to use Hammer. Now I have invisble func_clip_physobjs (I think) on either side of the walkway and that seems to do the trick.

Love the map. Have to plan ahead to keep from getting trapped. Plenty of windows so no problem there.

Franken-Cube's can be a pain. Their alingment might have changed. You might want to force them with a track or piston platform.

This map is a little broken just because the franken-cubes don't seem to behave as I wanted. I swear something has changed with their behavior.

Is it me or is it very easy to get stuck in this map? Whenever I'm at the Franken redemption area, and activate the sphere, the Frankencubes just keep running into the wall. One runs into the tractor beam, but it doesn't seem to do anything. If you lose your sphere and used two portals in that area there's no way to portal back. If you get in the reversed tractor beam, you're stuck. Thinking about it, I think I know what to do now, I'm sure it won't break the puzzle if you can portal back into the area with the buttons (and portal away if you get in the reversed tractor beam).
