Gregor's Keep

Beskrivning
This mod includes a small player home and a small cave. I created this house with a more realistic vision. It seems like all of the player home mods available are all huge and outrageous. This one is very basic but useful, especially if you are just starting a new game.

The house can be found just north-west of Windhelm. It was once an Orcish stronghold but was abandoned and refurbished by a Nord named Gregor. Read his journal on the bedside table to learn more.

The journal will mark a cave on your map called Esther's Rest. This cave is completely dark so be prepared. There are a few torches inside but be careful. Running out of light would be very problematic.

This is my first mod and it needs some polishing but I'm proud of it. I still need to figure out how to enable your followers, spouses and adopted children to live there so if anyone could tell me how to do that I would greatly appreciate it. I've looked at dozens of tutorials but couldn't find an answer.

There are no requirements for this mod. Only Skyrim itself of course.

If you encounter any bugs please let me know and give me any feedback about how I can make the mod better.

Enjoy.

The title makes me think of "the Mountain" off of GOT :)

I like the home. It's small, but decent. Only complaint about the home is the use of the word "cunt", in the journal. The word was out of place more than it was offensive. It sounded too modern.

The dungeon was awesome! No light was a great touch. I was glad I had picked up that Candlelight spell! When it suddenly went out, I cursed and frantically smacked the hotkey to bring it back up! It reminded me very much of the tunnels in the Exorcist prequel. I wish it was longer with a nasty boss to fight, or even the Falmer would have been awesome! Trying to keep a light going while who knows what is lurking around the next corner, that clacking from the undead! Just as you round a corner and it gets loud, POOF! Your light goes out!

Let me know if you make a dungeon like this on the size of Bleak Falls Barrow or something. And if you want to drive players up the walls, make it have several intersections just so they can get lost!

Did you navmesh it for followers to enter and such? I'm guessing it's a secret what's in the cave?

Thank you very much. I'll update this as soon I can.

When you download HMAM there will be a txt file "HFMK_Modders" which has instructions on how to make your house compatible with adoptions.

You need a helper mod for Hearthfires. There's one called Hearthfires Multiple Adoptions mod. You place tons of marker and references to items and that will allow you to move family in.

I dunno about followers, anyone can just use "My Home Is Your Home" and tell their followers which place they want them to live in.
