Do you live out of nowhere land and the nearest city is 3 day jounery? Do you have a lot of loot and booty and getting tried of carry it to sell in town? If you answer “yes,” this mod is for you! This mod will add up to nine merchants that live in one’s home. Each merchant has 20K of gold to buy your loot and booty.

This mod should work with ANY* house mod, Villina Skyrim or Hearthfire DLC.

This is how the mod works:

One goes to Rorikstead’s Inn called Frostfruit Inn and ask any NPC that is added via this mod to follow you to home. When you dismiss them, they stay there and setup a store and/or you can set them as a steward. Thus you have a merchant living at your home. If 20K of gold is not enough, one can add up to nine merchants to a home(s). If you want to move to a new home, you can let them follow you to your new home.

The reason there is nine of them for the Healthfire DLC (as stated above, it should work with ANY* home)
For the three Hearthfire homes added by the DLC, there is 2 merchants and a steward (who is also a merchant/follower) per house thus nine NPC’s

*Player Home Mods made by others must support of dropping off followers in the home area.

NOTES:

1) They do NOT have a return home AI, so if you use them as a follower and dismiss them in a cave or dungoen, they will stay there forever with any items that you gave them.

2) WARNING: An ingame bug for all merchants!
All merchants glitch out and stop paying you when they get around 30k gold, so if you plan on buying back your items to raise your speech level or something, don't let his/her money get too high or (s)he will stop paying you.

Later might be adding items for the merchants to sell. Right now, they sell nothing, just they will buy your loot. I am thinking for them to sell salt, food and ingots of diffferent types. What do you think that they should sell? Leave a comment below to let me know.

as an alchemist. id like to see a fully stocked alchemical/mage supplier, as well as the good cooking ingredients like moon sugar, garlic, leeks and ale

Awesome! WHatever you did worked. NOw I can safely move my kids to Lakeview without having to explain why the nice merchants are walking around almost nekkid lol

at the end of the page, there should be a text box, type your reply in that and hit the green button when done. Also, there should be some links / tools on the right side the of page.

i was trying somethng out -- how skyrim handle default gear.... if a NPC has cloths, then u must put something better for them to put it on.... since they do not have defualt clothes, just a cloth item in their inv, they can wear anything that u gave them. I will look into that some more and fix the problem.

So does anyone know why all the merchants from this mod are running around in their underwear? When I have them follow me, they put their clothes on, but as soon as I dismiss them at the house, they are stripped down to their underwear again. They otherwise act normal, but it is weird to go home to Lakeview and see a nudist colony in my house!
