PLEASE NOTE: This is outdated version of the scenario, which may be not functional at all. After recent loss of saves and user data from the game, I am afraid there is no way how I can repair it or publish new, functional version. I am sorry for any possible inconvenience caused by this fact and huge thanks to everyone who tried this scenario when it was functional.


Very, very, very simple scenario. Your task is simple. Move forward and enjoy fatal fall from the rock on Gale crater map.

If you want to lose 30 second of your life or if you want quickly complete Careless/Destructive/Catastrophic Failure achievement, this Scenario is just for you.

Please, don't take this scenario as something serious. It's just for fun or for completion of some achievements.
Enjoy it anyway.


NOTE: For controlling your rover, press F key!
NOTE2: This is more like a test than something real, so if you'll find some error, please make note in the comments section below

Hello guys, the scenario wasn't functional for some time. There was a problem caused by latest updates of the game which resulted in some missing object including playable rover (that's the answer for your question Private Leonard Church, you couldn't play after pressing the F key simply because the rover was missing). I was unable to repair it at first, but it should be OK now. I believe I found the solution and updated the whole package. If you'll try the scenario in the future and find out that something is not Ok, please let me know here in the comments section :lander: :rover:

I have a question. When I get in the scenario i'm just flying how do I do stuff. (Just got this game)

Just go to your Steam library, find Take On Mars, right-click on it, select Properties, Betas tab (the last one) and choose development -. There is also possibility to wait for 3rd October, release day of new patch for normal version. I believe every tool for Scenario uploading will be available without need of switching to development version. As I said, you can publish it manually, but it's complicated, It's surely better use new, in-game tools

A dumb question :) how/where can i subscribe the development version of the game? And when it is not longer possible how can i publish it manual?

-[GALAXY]-Seregant: Thank you. If you are subsribed for development version of the game, upload is really simple. In editor, you can easily set properties such as title picture, time, description etc. If you'll save your scenario, go to Scenarios section in main menu, choose your mission and click on "Send to Steam" on the left side of the screen. That's all. Upload with normal version of the game is currently also possible (this is the case by the way, that's why you see my mission as Addon instead of Custom), but it's more complicated, you have to operate outside the game :lander:

how can i publish my scenario on the workshop? i cant see any publish button :(

Try to set the priority of the target to negligible, they don't have pop-up messages. :)
