From the depths of the dark reef prision, this creature remains on the lookout even on the battlefield

When we first completed this ward, the ward import tools weren't avalible, now that they are, we've made some adjustments and reuploaded as per valve's guidelines.

This is another living ward idea that isn’t based off of a specific hero. This ward is more of a creature then a character. Our inspiration was driven to create something from the sea based off of a crustacean or mollusk creature. One idea what was drafted was a tube worm fused with a crab and we felt it was one of our stronger ideas what could work well. After the idea was concepted we started to play with where this could fit into DOTA’s ever expanding lore. The Dark Reef Prison instantly came to mind where this creature could be used as a sentry, like a security camera in the prison to alert the guards of possible escapees. So with that being said, we present, “The Ward of the Dark Reef”
