It is possible (not likely, unless said test subject is unable to work out what to do) to trap yourself in the laser relay room by going down there before opening the angled panel "trapdoor" (jump around the glass onto the ledge in front of the exit) It is also possible to trap yourself under the sphere dropper, go in there and move both portals in there.
The death fields around the companion cube dropper don't have a purpose and only serve to prevent the peti from putting in signage. Also the exit was somewhat frustrating, after activating the only thing visibly connected to it, it didn't open.
I could not "see" the laser puzzle solution until trying out some of the ideas II had in mind.
I agree with your approach to laser puzzle solving. It is the general approach I use for the whole map (when it is not a sequence of unrelated small puzzles)
thumb up.
thankyou very much for your advice.
logical :)
I made the mistake of trying all combo's of laser alignment, I could think of.
starting by aligning 3 relays.
but the start, I eventualy got, was alignment of 2 relays.

altthough I personaly don't like laser puzzles, having a puzzle near the exit,
does add to the maps quality.
also not to hard is good, as I struggle with these.
