Seemed too easy at first but then it dawned on me why 2 lenses were needed.

@maniax: your way to solve it only using one cube can be done but it's a huge pain to position the cube just right. Not worth the hassle IMO.

Sorry, I still managed to do it using only one cube

After you get the cube from behind the emancipation grill arrange the portals so that the laser enters as high as possible into the first portal and then put the second portal on the ground nearby, you can just about balance the cube at the edge of the ground portal and not have it fall into the portal and if you get the positioning correct the laser should be able to hit both relays bringing the platform down. Hop on the platform and then move to ground portal to activate the door recipticle
