The slp file added by my mod doesn't overwrite it, but puts a slp file into the new data\slp folder. AoE replaces all original graphics with those found in this slp folder automatically.
This way all graphics can be edited seperately instead of changing the whole graphics.drs - which would limit you to one mod changing this file (like the unit reskins and architecture renovation mods do - the reason why they are incompatible at the moment).
In fact the new flames and cliffs are done like this, a fix mod so to say - so you can swith back to the default ones by deleting these files. But the yare part of the installation package, so every verification would reload them - so you indeed need a mod that overwrites these mod files... xD
The berries are stored in FORAG_NN.slp.
The error of mod content remaining after unsubscribing is THE most annoying bug resulting from HiddenPath not coding any uninstallation functionality.
You can use the game cache verification after unsubscribing, but this is only thought to reset game files - so it doesn't touch any additional content in your games directory.
But most AoE mods add files (like maps, campaigns, most soundtrack mods, most taunts, all non-terrain graphics, ...)
To uninstall these you have to remove the files manually. For graphics this is the AoE\data\slp folder. You can delete the exact slp files from the unsubscribed mod, or the whole folder. All files still needed will be reloaded while verifying your game cache later.
So this bug should be different from files not beeing extracted/installed correctly.
For the moving - this works (on the technical side) by three layers applied to water areas, one that just lies beneath the water, one that is 'moving' across the ground and a third that defines where this effect is visible.
The default water enabled this effect just in a very small region where the sun seems to mirror in the water.
My water expands this effect over the whole screen and also changes the 2 layers defining the waves shape.
In case you don't have the default water anymore, I'm pretty sure these three layers also changed (you can check this by comparing the ones in your terrain folder with the mods archive file). I suppose you just expected more/other movement than what is implemented.
Indeed you are the first one (I know of) not able to see the movement.
Seems there is nothing what I can do about it, for you installed it successfully...
and i said i did that already =[
If this is for whatever reason bugged for you, try to extract the mod manually. Got to your AoE\mods folder and extract the archive (extensionless zip file) to your AoE folder. :)
Ive installed and re installed, subscribed and unsubscribed, wiped the mods folder and tried multiple times, verified the cache. nothing works and i still have yet to see this water move
