daylight robbery

Descriere
Minor tweaks to give some of the less common containers more fitting loot:
  • better gear on weapon and armor racks, but also more curses
  • cursed swords possess the same quality weapons found on the racks
  • mimics are much more cunning, so they also tend to hoard more loot
  • meat sacks may actually contain meat, but watch for spiders or corpse gnashers
  • pagodas always produce a scroll—possibly a spell scroll?
  • chance to salvage dynamite from unexploded TNT barrels (open carefully!)
  • chance to create antitoxin from poison barrels
  • mirka frostbinders may drop their secret to preventing frostbite
  • grease from shock turrets can serve as an insulating balm
  • detonating powder kegs teaches you a little about safely handling fire
  • dismantling a sundial produces high quality gold and possibly a low quality gem
  • better scrolls available in scroll cabinets and the witch's cookbook
  • what'd you expect to find when searching those bone piles and skulls?
  • ...and combining those with amulets, mana potions, or skulls? just rumors.
  • dead adventurers may have met slightly more success before their untimely end
  • the rock pile left when you smash a stone artifact can sometimes be searched
  • bowl-style braziers can turn out to be a round shield, and rarely, a fire ember
  • skara eggs have been reported to contain rejuvenating properties
  • sages whisper of a powerful world-altering magic lost in the depths of time
  • mundane items (rocks, etc.) less likely to drop two gems at once
  • vault lights appear to be powered by spark ember; the tricky part is removing one intact
  • dead guards and infantry are a grisly but reliable source of used armor
  • thoroughly checking the remains of a wooden barricade may reveal hidden treasure
  • the burning house in echo pass rains down debris which can be searched for loot
  • armor racks appear randomly throughout the game like weapon racks
  • forest lights run on venom ember but get their characteristic rejuvenating hue elsewhere
  • fungal vents can be harvested for antivenom and venom ember among their other loot
  • as adventurers have learned its value, the bittersprite has become more skittish
  • common breakable items have less random loot, with fewer but more specific drops
  • barrels, crates, and dinghies may contain abandoned shipments of certain merchandise
  • you never know what you'll find when you disturb a rotted out trunk
  • cemetery urns may contain cherished mementos such as a pet tag or ring
  • search the remains of smashed barrels and crates for additional loot
  • netherrealm flytraps (ichor pods) have been catching more than flies (don't inhale!)
  • mired in a mucous mound? don't stick around, leave your boots and run!
  • siege guardian pillars that start fully intact will produce lootable debris on demolition
  • fish urns are highly prized—their magic can keep even extinct seafood fresh indefinitely
  • the rare candelabra may be found fashioned from a polearm
  • spider eggs or unique spider weapons can sometimes be found with webbed victims
  • baskets will now appear containing clothing articles or scrolls, but spiders like them too
  • more distinct sound effects for rings, amulets, pet tags, and gems
  • fixed sound effects for a large number of quest items and keys for better consistency
  • added distinct sound effects for special items used within phase beast quests
  • more varied treasure—and horrors—to be found at the netherrealm altars
  • spider mines sometimes inhabit the inner workings of vault lights and sundials
  • corrupted by blood ember, the blood monkey can quickly turn your battlefield against you

I never really developed the crafting aspect, so I left those more as easter eggs, but as you discovered there are 4 functional recipes.

Bone Golem Plans: 206 bone fragments + skull
Osseous Philtre: 50 bone fragments + 1 mana potion
Reroll Magic Amulet: 1 rare amulet + 25 teeth + 75 bone fragments
Reroll Unique Amulet: 1 unique amulet + 75 teeth + 25 bone fragments

opps, I just listed "Reroll Magic Amulet" twice, the 4th recipe is actually "reroll unique amulet"

(can't seem to edit myoriginal post...weird)

I know you are probably not working on this Mod any longer and may not even respond, but I have searched and searched for any posts about Bone Fragments or Teeth. Every time you say they are just vendor trash because you haven't added any recipies. But I see in your Apr 26 2013 Change Notes that you added 4 recipies. I have made the Osseous Philtre potion (It's a Trap! :recranky: ) from 50 Bone Fragments and a mana pot but I can't figure out the "Bone Golem", "Reroll Magic Amulet" or the "Reroll Magic Amulet" recipes listed in the Change Notes.
could you tell us what they are? I'm not a modder so I don't know how to open the .dat files (or whatever) to find out myself.

Thank you and love the mod!!!

I've incorporated this mod within my merged mod pack! NO MERCY It's actually a little more than just a merged pack, take a look! ;D

added this to rt gameplay cluster — it is a killer mod btw. I made a lower drop rate mod called providence (never uploaded publicly), which made drops rarer in general and it was great, but I missed your cursed swords and farmer's shotgun barrels so much I had to come back!
