Maybe you could install it manually (not with steam) with downloading it from the nexus pages: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/47795
If you play on a potato you could try to set down grafics, at least to test, but i doubt thats the problem. At the moment i don't have other ideas, sorry.
The main problem is when I begin to walk up to the mansion, from any direction, my pc crashes and I have to reboot and try again.
I have:
no problems with any other mod,
uninstalled and reinstalled the mod a zillion times,
uninstalled Skyrim twice.
All this and no difference in the performance of the mod.
I think it's overkill to hide it in a basket or in the shadow.
It's hard to find the key so I can't proceed at all
Even biohazard doesn't hide like that.
