Improves the stats and enchantments for the Blade of Woe.

Adds a full set of Black Hand Robes.

Adds the bow, Shadowhunt.

Adds the sword, Redfang.

Adds two new scenarios in which you can acquire the Black Hand Robes, Shadowhunt and Redfang.

ORIGINAL STATS
Damage: 12 (equivalent to a Dragonbone Dagger)
Speed 1 (standard Sword speed; slow for a dagger)
Enchantment: Absorb Health 10 points.
Charge: 500/76 = 6 uses

NEW STATS
Damage: 12 (unchanged)
Speed 1.35 (slightly faster than the standard Dagger speed)
Enchantment: Absorbs 25 points of Health (unaffected by magi resistance. Ignores 25% of armor resistance. Briefly lowers the targets agility by 25% (this lows the targets movement speed and weapon-swing speed).
Charge: 3000/30 = 100 uses

This mod adds a full set of Black Hand Robes, the bow, Shadowhunt, and the sword, Redfang. You can acquire these items whether you join the Dark Brotherhood or not, but there are two different ways of acquiring them. If you choose to join the Dark Brotherhood, see “Outpost Storeroom” section below. If you choose to destroy the Dark Brotherhood, see the “Dark Brotherhood Ambush” section below.

BLACK HAND ROBES SET
Robes Enchantment: Fortify Destruction and Illusion by 25%.

Hood Enchantment: Fortify Archery by 25%. Doubles sneak attack damage inflicted with bows.

Gloves Enchantment: Fortify One-Handed by 25%. Doubles sneak attack damage inflicted with one-handed weapons.

Boots Enchantment: Fortify Sneak by 25%. Muffles your movement.

SHADOWHUNT
Damage: 13 (equivalent to an Elven Bow)
Speed: 0.94 (equivalent to a Hunting Bow)
Enchantment: Inflicts 15 points of Health damage. Poisons applied to the bow are twice as deadly (i.e. the magnitude and duration of poison effects are doubled when applied to Shadowhunt).
Charge: 1500/100 = 15

REDFANG
Damage: 14 (equivalent to a Daedric Sword)
Enchantment: Inflicts 35 points of Damage at the cost of 10 points of your own Magicka (this weapon has no charge; rather, its enchantment is powered by your personal Magicka stores. The advantage of this is that you’ll never have to recharge the sword with soul gems; the disadvantage is that mages will have less Magicka for spell-casting when wielding this weapon)

OUTPOST STOREROOM
If you decide to join the Dark Brotherhood, the Black Hand Robes, Shadowhunt and Redfang can be found in the storeroom of the Penitus Oculatus outpost in Dragon Bridge. The storeroom is accessed through a trap door that is only accessible once the quest, “Hail Sithis!”, has been completed.

DARK BROTHERHOOD AMBUSH
If you decide to destroy the Dark Brotherhood, the Black Hand Robes, Shadowhunt and Redfang can be found claimed from members of the Dark Brotherhood. Once you have completed the quest, “Destroy the Dark Brotherhood!”, the last survivors of the group will gather outside Dragon Bridge and wait to ambush you. If you travel south from Dragon Bridge and follow the road, you will eventually walk into the ambush. If you survive, the artifacts will be yours for the taking. Please note that this battle can be very difficult; it is advised that you prepare beforehand.

There are no known bugs associated with this mod.

Is this mod compatible with re-meshes of the Blade of Woe?
It depends on the re-mesh. I have tested it with ktacreations’ re-mesh mod and found it works fine.

What are the Black Hand Robes, the Putrid Blackblade and Shadowhunt?
The NPC who carries these three items has a backstory that is only hinted at, but essentially it is implied that he/she knows a lot about the Dark Brotherhood and is a collector of the group’s relics. The Black Hand Robes, which were featured in TESIV - Oblivion, are worn by the most senior members of the Dark Brotherhood. Shadowhunt also featured in TESIV - Oblivion as a reward during the Dark Brotherhood quest line. The Putrid Blackblade is an artifact of my own invention.

How do I obtain the new artifacts?
See the “Outpost Storeroom” and “Dark Brotherhood Ambush” sections above.

Is there any way to avoid obtaining the new artifacts?
Typing in the console command: “Set ExtraArtifacts to 0”, will prevent the Dark Brotherhood ambush from spawning and will prevent the storeroom door from opening, thus preventing you from encountering the new artifacts. Should you change your mind, typing in the command: “Set ExtraArtifacts to 1”, will re-allow the ambush to occur and will unlock the storeroom door.

Zim: it's 'Destroy the Thieves Guid' if I remember correctly. Love your mods!

There's "The Blade of Woe" and then there's "The Blade of Woe Shit." You should call this that.

michelle.bourgoyne.....you can still loot the DB sanctuary having destroyed it in the vanilla game, and this mod doesn't change that. There is a mod out there for destroying the Thieves Guild, can't recall it's name and I don't know how good it is, but I know I've seen it somewhere

The ambush would give a nice resolution to the Dark brotherhood questline, depending on what you chose. But do you get to loot the DB Sanctuaries as well? Can you reccomend any mods (besides this one) for those who would love to destoy the DB and/or the Thieves Guild? If so, can you get some of the same things that you would by following the questlines (artifacts, loot, word walls, etc)?

Sorry for such a long post.

Reintalled Dawnguard, fixed itself, everything is cool. Amazing mod, love the bow.

So, there's a glitch where even if you have the Dragon smithing perk it won't double the upgarade for weapons. That seems to be the problem, nothing with the mod. So It's not actually OP, it's just that my dragon weapons are underpowered.
