At first, adjusting your sensitivity might seem pretty straight forward, but opposite is actually true.

Most high skill players will adjust their sensitivity to special number, let's say sensitivity 2.0.
Problem in most COD PC games is that changing your FOV will affect your final sensitivity.
In this short guide, I'll show you how to keep your sensitivity consistent across all COD or even CS games.

Calculating correct sensitivity in relation with FOV.

Let's assume that you're playing Black ops 2, Tf2 or CS:GO with the sensitivity of 2.0.
If you're a PC player you probably want to set your FOV to 90°, default FOV is 65° these 3 number are important.

Here's step by step guide

• Go to http://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/
  
• Choose your game, we will use Call of Duty 4: Modern warfare
  
• Put in sensitivity 2.0 and FOV 65 and 800 DPI (we're not converting DPI so it doesn't matter)
  
  
• Chose your second game, also Call of Duty 4: Modern warfare
  
• Put in 800 DPI again, but this time change to your desired FOV, in my case FOV 90°
  
• See CALCULATIONS window, there will be calculation for your new sensitivity.

You can see that your new sensitivity for higher FOV of must be lower If you want to keep it consistent from Black Ops 2 or CS:GO, etc
In our case we were going from sensitivity 2.0 to 1.272944 for FOV 90°

@Bravehood I'm using controller too, it affects cotrollers as well. Higher FOV will make your aim faster, so you'll have to dial down look speed.

However, sensitivity in controllers isn't that much important, it takes little time to ajdust from sens 3 to sens 5, etc.

@DarkBlazt Well I wrecked them all in Adwanced Warfare and I get rekt in this, I think its a matter of sensivity or just bad luck with the players.
