Leviathan to Tunnelton

解説
This Scenario is a follow up to "Leviathan to Howesville" available here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=928391154


Now that you've made the up hill run to Howesville, the hard part lies ahead. Take Leviathan and her two car train back down the steep hills from Howesville to Tunnelton, stopping at any flagstops you need to stop at. Keep a sharp eye out and mind the grade changes, it's VERY easy to lose control of the train!

Difficulty: Extremely Hard (But a Real Good Challenge!)

Aproximate Running Time: 25 Minutes.

Requires 2 DLCs:
B&O Kingwood Branch
Smokebox Jupiter Pack

i think the steepest I've been on with Jupiter was a 3% (or it might have been a tiny bit more) on Donner Pass (a few short sections of the third career scenario). 3.8% would certainly be challenging!

@Smokebox I replayed the scenario and the steepest section of the line traversed in this scenario is 3.8%

@Smokebox I'll try to get an exact figure for you, but I recall the grade being in excess of 3%. The route has 4%+ grades in some spots.
@Pete One trick I found was to move the reverser closer to center if your speed got out of hand, that would usually catch it.

I'm tempted to get the route just so I can try this scenario. What's the steepest grade on that downhill run?

Completely impossible, even with full train brakes (short whistle pop) plus tender brake, and engine braking in reverse - even after coming to a dead stop before the grade. :O
