Smeltable Dwarven Scrap Metal

ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
For some odd reason you can smelt 'Bent Dwarven Scrap Metal', but not regular (unbent) 'Dwarven Scrap Metal'. To me, this is counterintuitive and doesn't make any sense. On my first playthrough, I was bewildered to keep finding leftover scrap metal after my trips to the smelter - Well, no more!

This simple mod adds 'Dwaven Scrap Metal' to the list of smeltable Dwarven items, with a recipe identical to it's bent counterpart. Similarly, Smiths will now buy them, just as they do for the rest of the Dwarven metal items.

If there is enough interest, I could also add the rest of the solid Dwarven metal items, for instance, levers. I would want to keep it balanced, however, so the additional items would yield a low amount of ingots (perhaps three levers to an ingot?). Please share your thoughts in the comments.

Thanks, and enjoy!

Maybe 20 ingots would be a little high, but it does say "solid" dwarven metal, wheras raw ore that you take out of the groud yeild ingots at a 1:2 basis, so metal that has already been smelted and is "solid" should yeild more maybe a 3:5 or 4:5 basis. Not trying to hate, just justifying.

I definitely will add all the metals with the next release. However, making it a 1:1 output of weight:ingot wouldn't make sense, as you have to account for impurities that are removed during the smelting process. Also, heavier items would produce 15-25 ingots a pop and that just seems unbalanced. What I tried to do was compare the size of the item's 3D art to the size of the ingots, and base it off of that.

The aim of this mod is to fix something in the game that didn't make sense, whilst retaining game balance, as that's important to me. :) Thanks for the feedback.

please do add all the dwarven metals... in agreement with the others for a touch of realism the output of ingots really should be commensurate with the weight of the item being smelyed down.

I agree with alexpatdragon, the "solid" dwarven metal that weighs 25 and yeilds 5? It should yeild at least 20, it just makes logistical sense.

I think the amount of ingots should be relative to the size. For instance, the bar shaped one that weighs 25 (OI forget what it is called), gives a lot of ingots.

PLEASE add all Dwarven metals.
