Introduction

This guide will give you instructions on how to link your Steam account with your Twitch account.

This feature will allow you to watch tournament games on Twitch and receive tournament loot.

Creating a Twitch Account

Before you'll be able to take advantage of this feature you'll need to sign up for a Twitch TV account. To do this visit {LIEN SUPPRIMÉ} and click on the Sign-Up button located at the top of the page.

Linking Steam and Twitch Accounts

You can link your Steam and Twitch accounts via the Twitch connection settings page[www.twitch.tv]. From the Connections page click on the Connect button next to the Steam logo.

Once selected you'll be taken to a Steam login page. Enter your account credentials and follow the Steam Guard prompt if required.

Once you've signed in to Steam you're done. Your Steam account is linked to your Twitch account and you'll be eligible for item drops by watching live official tournament streams. If you receive an item drop while watching a Twitch stream it will be waiting in your inventory when you next load your game. Additionally any in-game items which track the amount of games watched from a specific tournament will also earn credit.

Certain games such as Dota 2 require the purchase of an in-game league pass before you'll be eligible to receive tournament loot.

If you would like to remove association between your Steam and Twitch account you can do so by returning to the Twitch connection settings page[www.twitch.tv] and clicking the Disconnect button next to the Steam logo.

My twitch account got hacked and I can't unlink through twitch. It says there is a way to unlink from Steams side but there is no link. Anyone have an idea? Cheers
