Motherlode Mining Mod COMPLETE EDITION

Description
Motherlode Mining Mod Complete allows the player to choose from a few pre-determined choices how much ore they want to harvest from each ore deposit, and how fast they mine it. The versions are interchangable in-game through new books that are available at the Riverwood Trader

User Notes:

MMM Complete exchanges the script that governs all ore deposits besides the ones in Blackreach with a modified version. This modified version will allow for four variations in how you mine.

Efficient Mining: Harvest a total of 50 ore from each deposit, 1 at a time.
Forbidden Mining: Harvest a total of 50 ore from each deposit, 25 at a time.
Realistic Mining: Harvest a total of 12 ore from each deposit, 1 at a time.
Original: Same as vanilla skyrim.

Which version you use is determined by which magic effect you have in action, the magic effects added to the player for reading special books from Lucan Valerius. The books should be self-explanatory, but if someone doesn't understand,

Mining Efficient Tricks = Efficient Mining
Mining Forbidden Tricks = Forbidden Mining
Mining: Pacing yourself = Realistic Mining
Mining: Traditional = Go back to vanilla style

You can only have one magic effect active at any time, no stacking magic effects.

Note 1: This script is run everytime the ore deposit item is initiated, or reset. This means that if you use a version book after entering a mine, it will not take effect right away. However, if you use a version book before entering a mine for the first time, it will take effect right away. Ore deposits in dungeons are reset every 720 hours (30 days,) which means use this wisely for best results. Ore deposits not in dungeons reset every 240 hours (10 days) If you empty one deposit then change books, the rest of the deposits in a mine or dungeon will only change after 10 days.

Note 2: Because this mod does not alter any vanilla settings or scripts, but simply changes which script governs some objects, any bugs found are the result of other mods interfering with it. I can't possibly write it to be compatible with every mod that was and might ever be, so trial and error with desired modlists is advised. However, because there were some complaints about a persistent bug that remained after uninstalling previous iterations of MMM, I'm listing a walkthrough for fixing any remaining issues that stick around after uninstalling MMM Complete should you choose to.

1.Backup your Data folder in your skyrim directory, and place the backup somewhere safe.
2. Unsubscribe from MMM Complete in the steam workshop.
3. Delete the following file from your Data folders, backup and main: MMM Complete.bsa, MMM Complete.esp
4. If the bug remains, then that mean something really big got FUBARed by your particular mod combination. Delete the Data folder from your Skyrim directory, then revalidate the data cache in steam so it will download the data files again for you. Once that's done, copy over all the files in your backup of the data folder over to the new Data folder in the Skyrim directory.

And voila, that should do it. Keep this solution in mind, because it can come in pretty handy for solving persistent bugs with any mod.

Anyways, please comment any feedback you have, I love to read reviews. If you like the mod, feel free to give it a thumbs up, it certainly makes my day.

This actually seems like a great Idea, I'd probably use it to if I weren't already using something like this.

Any chance of a compatibility patch between this and Mining Flames ?

Am I the only one this adds 1 health point to? Not game changing, but it does bug me.

this mod is actually not working, ive got the books... activated one outside the breezehome expansion mod i was running, and i managed to mine 4 ore on the insanity setting.... instead of the 50 as quoted. shall not be using this mod in future

Is this on the nexus? I'm trying to use as few workshop mods as I can.

I'm using Efficient, and have discovered a problem with the dragonborn mod: the script seems to be only partially implemented. Mining Ebony in Raven Rock causes you to take nine swings per ore just like on the mainland, but you only get one ore per vein. Hopefully this is just a case of me having been in the mine since I got it opened back up and having forgotten about it.

I really liked the previous versions of this mod and appreciate this one too.
However, I'm a bit annoyed about the way that you HAVE to use the "press E" option to mine using the other methods than traditional in this version. The previous mod versions allowed me to use the option available in vanilla mining to simply equip a pickaxe and swing it at the veins.
I'm not demanding that this be made to happen, just noting that it would be nice.

It would be nice if the names of the books in-game matched what was here in the description.

Also, for others considering this mod: this mod conflicts with other motherlode mods, glowing ore mods, and the mining flames mod.

This does not work. If you install this mod and read books, you will most likely screw up your savegame. BE WARNED!

i haven't tried any of the other books, but realistic mining doesn't seem to work for me. i get three ore total, and then my character just keeps beating away at the depleted vein for eternity until i stop him.
