Description
Chariots, chariots, Cave here, it looks like you have found my personal companion cube we have had a lot of *cough* fun together me and...erm...Fluffy. anyway i am going to keep the exit to this chamber firmly locked until you return her back to her bed! Oh and now you have her you must remember she gets a bit upset if you leave her on her own for to long, so for my sake please keep her close to you as much as possible! *off mic* What do you mean Cubes have no feelings Greg? Fluffly loves me and I love her she was the first companion cube I made...why do you think they are called "Companion Cubes"? because she was made to be my friend...thats why!.
*on air* Right well, continue testing...and put her back to bed!

please post any comments / criticisms here.

V1.1 stopped an exploit found by Prototype, now you can't finish the map without going to all the areas intended for you to go :)

V1.2 Edited the layout slightly to stop a potential exploit.

That was a hard run but fun, not to easy. Thanks.

the update should have solved the throwing issue aswell

Yes, it is solevable, sorry, I couldn't see past my easy way out :), I have found the solution.

I will, and yes the room is still solveable, The way to get to the end is exactly the same route as I crated the map to be, everything you do, should open up new areas, even if they are not always obvious! I will have a look at all of your chambers as soon as I can!

Well, you solved my loop hole, but I don't think that the level is solveable??? I have pressed every button I could get to and the door up high to the left of the exit will not open (even when I push the star button it says it is connected to). Have you solved the level after you changed it? (its possible I'm missing something)

Also you can glitch your way through the first door by holding the cube above the button while standing as close to the door as you can and dropping it and running though door, you end up on the other side with the cube on the button. (could be fixed by simply moving the door and button apart by a square). Could you play my new level "test5 - The dual cubes" and see if you can find any problems? :)

fair enough :)

hmm mood3rd, I thought I answered you, obviously not...anyway the timers are there just to add a bit of suspence, hearing times ticking away always seems to add a degree of urgency to a task, well I think it does, may just be me...so to answer your question the timer is there for atmosphere more than anything else!

that sounds like it is a loop hole way of finishing the puzzle, i will look at correcting it

I found an extremely easy way to complete this level which seems too easy and unintended what I did was: Took the cube into the main room, placed a portal under the button up high, place the other portal above the high platform (the one above the large hole), go up to the platform, move the portal to the bottom of the hole, jump, push button (flips panel in button room) make portal on panel, make other portal on wall in main room, drop cube on button, exit this seems too easy with all the other things which are never used.

good map.
the idea of putting the cube back, is good.
& the title helps the player a lot :)
the antlines were helpfull to a degree.
but with so many, I lost the plot eventualy.
I did not understand the timers, why ?
but put the companion cube to bed & left.
