Spider Control Rod - Anywhere

This ControlRod/Spider was great during the quest, but useless afterwards because the spider is supposed to only work in that one area.

(FYI: The quest is called " Hard Answers " and is apart of the Thieves Guild quest line.)


This mod allows you to use the spider anywhere you like.

Take your Original Spider Control Rod to midden forge and throw it into the offering box, pull the lever and a new working Spider Control Rod will appear, just like magic!

If you decide you want the Original Spider Control Rod back, just do the same thing in reverse... but why would you?

The Spider is a duplicate of the spider from the quest, stats have not been changed... so he won't be taking out any dragons for ya!

You *might* need to cast the rod twice when you first get it before the spider appears.

*If the spider dies simply re-cast and the Control Rod will bring it back to life.

*If the spider is too far away from you when you cast, it will be *teleported* to the point you cast at, along with a nifty explosion visual effect.

*The spider is NOT a follower, it only moves to the location you cast the rod at.

*When you enter a new area *loading screen*, you will need to re-cast to summon the spider.

*The spider is not aggressive, but will attack anything that becomes hostile towards you or it... or anyone holding a can of fly spray.

***IF you have any other mods that also change the forge (example the fall of the space core).. You might want to move this mod higher up in your mod list after obtaining the new rod, so that the lower mods gain priority.
