WARNING

THIS IS NOT A PLAYABLE MOD, BUT IS ONLY UPLOADED AS A PLUGIN (.ESP) FILE BECAUSE A MASTER FILE (.ESM) CANNOT BE UPLOADED. YOU SHOULD CONVERT THE PLUGIN FILE TO A MASTER FILE AND USE THE MANNEQUINS IN YOUR OWN MODS.

I got the idea for this while working one a larger project where I needed a large amount of mannequins. They are so grey and dull and only male! Still working on Draugr and Falmer as a mannequin, but up till now they won't accept the armor, boots, gauntlets and helmets to wear (well ... accept, but don't wear, and just show up in their underwear).

Converting the plugin into a master file is quite easy:
1. Once subscribed, you will find the file Mannequins.esp in your Skyrim Data folder
2. Rename this file into Mannequins.esm
3. Open the Creation Kit and make Mannequins.esm the Active File (no need to select any other file)
4. Just save and exit (the next time you open the CK or start Skyrim, the file is recognized as a master file)
Creating an .esm file is a good idea if you want to use multiple instances of a specific mannequin.

If you want to make changes to the look and feel of the mannequins, make a copy of Mannequins.esp and use the copy. Otherwise you might loose a lot of work if the original is updated. Ofcourse you can also use the .esp as the base for your new mod, without creating a master file, but again ... rename the .esp!

The mannequins (22 different types):
Altmer, male and female
Argonian, male and female
Bosmer, male and female
Breton, male and female
Dremora, male and female
Dunmer, male and female
Imperial, male and female
Khajiit, male and female
Nord, male and female
Orc, male and female
Redguard, male and female

If you don’t know how to use the mannequins in your mod, you should carefully read the tutorial from the Creation Kit Wiki: http://www.creationkit.com/Creating_a_Mannequin or you can download an illustrated tutorial from my website: http://www.elder-scrolls.nl

Feel free to use the mannequins in your mod(s), change them anyway you like, but give me some credit for it. You will find the mannequins in the CK under Actors, IDs start with _amm_, so they will be on top of the actor list.

And, if you use the masterfile and publish your mod, let me know!

Ok.

These are modder's resources. You have to place them yourself, but take care not to place them exactly facing north. They should be a little off, as well as the XMarkerHeading which should be off north to the other side. If you do so, they will not be walking around.

I guess that can be pretty neat. Except for them walking around and stuff. Was that ever fixed?

Maybe, but at least you can have your own wax museum like Madame Tussaud! That doesn't scare you, does it?

This makes them scarrier XD

They are not nicer! THEY ARE TERRIFYING!

Sometimes the mannequins will start walking around. This seems to have to do with the direction they are facing. You should not let them face 0 degrees north and the XMarkerHeading should differ a few degrees from the mannequin. For all other details see my PDF tutorial: http://www.elder-scrolls.nl/files/Create_a_Mannequin.pdf

I can't help but think that the mannequins will be more frightening if they start walking around now that they have models of races.

You could also see it like kind of Madame Tussaud.
