But anyway, if there is any concern about the balance of using one spell to turn petty soul gems into black soul gems with repeated castings... maybe have multiple spells? Like 'Trasnmute Petty to Lesser', 'Transmute Lesser to Common', and so on. Each successive level of transmuting has a higher magicka cost and so forth (maybe even list the 'Transmute Grand to Black' as a Master level spell that you have to complete the Alteration Master Ritual thing to be able to buy. It would make the spells seem like something more to aspire to. (maybe even have a spell that turns common gems into petty soul gems to explain the presese of all the soul gems without big mining operations).
@d3pth in the console type: "help transmute"
it will display a list of items, one of which is the spell book it's ID will be in the form of: (XX0012C7) Where 'XX' is the order in which the mod was loaded. Simply type: "player.addItem XX0012C7 1" in the console and you should recieve the book, use it and you learn the spell. For example in my Skyrim the id is 080012C7 so I replace the XX with 08 and I would type: "player.addItem 080012C7 1" to recieve the tome. Depending on how many mods you have the first two hex digits will be different. But I am about to add it to the NPC vendor inventories so if all else fails in a couple of days I should have R2 up and you will be able to purchase it whereever spell books are sold.
