Ah! Thanks for letting me know :)

Thanks. Here's how I meant it to be solved: Use the first cube in the button to get access to the second cube. Once you have both, swap them over in the button. Use a pair of portals to redirect the lazer into the lazer socket so that the exit lift comes down. Stand by the exit lift and deliberately fizzle the first cube. It will respawn in the path of the laser, thereby allowing you to ascent to victory. The idea I was going for was getting the player to deliberately have to swap over two seemingly identical cubes :)

So if it is not a throwing puzzle, then is it a grab and go puzzle? What I did was after getting the 2nd cube (using a portal), I placed it at the far end of the laser and point it to the receiver. With the portals set to where the 2nd cube drops to and near the 2nd cube, I jump through the protal to land where the 2nd cube was and then grab the cube and jump to the lift. I think that's the soution.
As for the precision thing-- I don't know what that is, but I will give EuroSong's puzzle a try :)
As for throwing, throw the cube into the laser path. It was harder to do than I remembered.

industrialzombie - it's been a while since I solved this, but I'll see if I can re-subscribe and remember my solution! I will record it if I can.

This is not a throwing puzzle, at least it doesn't require any precision/luck-based throwing. This can be completed with 100% certainty even using my laptop (where I use a touchpad rather than a mouse) - definately not precision :) EuroSong, I'd be interested to know your preceision-portal solution as I don't think this is how I intended it to be solved.

I completed this chamber with no throwing: in fact I'm not sure how throwing would solve it. From where would you throw the cube, and to where? I succeeded with some precision portal placement: a concept I use in my own chamber called "Misdirection" (which is how I found yours, through a search of similar names). Please give it a go - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=140602475 - and I'll be interested to hear your comments :)

Ah not! Not a throwing puzzle! It seems that there is always just one thing that I hate in your Misdirection series. BUT, that being said, I have to also say that overall I did like the puzzles and found them enjoyable. And the throwing thing was not too hard in the end.
