The Art of Shock

Beskrivelse
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ATTENTION ALL!

This mod, as well as its counterparts is being officiallyannounced as redundant. I have released a new mod A Hypothetical Treachery which includes all of the features of the 'Art of' series as well as new features. You will be given the opportunity to chose one of the three elements to master, and be given much power. Check it out!:

A Hypothetical Treachery

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Part of the Elemental Arts series.

This mod aims to make playing an electromancer type character a little more viable and a little more rewarding.

WOT IT DOES:

Primarily this mod shortens the casting time of every shock-based destruciton spell.

-All the one-handed spells that previously had casting times of 0.5 seconds, now have casting times of 0.2 seconds.

-The two-handed spell that previously had a casting time of 3 seconds, now has a casting time of 1 second.

This is a small, but greatly noticed increase in speed for all shock spells.

This mod also alters the 'Augmented Shock' perks to be significantly more effective.

-Level 1 of this perk now multiplies the damage of shock spells and weapon enchantments by 1.5x instead of 1.25x.

-Level 3 of this perk now multiplies the damage of shock spells and weapon enchantments by 2x instead of 1.5x.

This greatly improves the effectiveness of your shock spells.

Lastly, this mod adds a few new spells aimed at the electromage character.

-Electrocute: An expert level concentration spell that deals 50 points of shock damage to health and magicka using 144 base magicka per second.

-Thundershock: An expert level spell that paralyzes the target for 10 seconds using 237 base magicka

A fun way to add versatility to you electromancer.

NOTES:

-You can buy the new spells from Faralda and Enthir in the college if your destrcution skill is high enough.

-Please do not comment on weather this is unbalanced. Balance is not a concern with this mod.

-There is a small issue with the Thundershock spell. It paralyses undefinately instead of for 10 seconds.

Alright, but it doesn't seem to show up in the load list....

Try putting this at the bottom of the load list and see what happens.

Well, all this time later, I fixed it by downloading a mod that alters Disintegrate. However, it also seems to have reset the improved Shock Damage Perks to their Vanilla power. The main draw of this mod for me (shorter cast times) still works, but is there a way I could get the shock damage perks to reappear correctly?

Thank you for the advice, GreyLight. I may have identified the problem, here's hoping.

@Mulqueeny @warrensam20 That sound like a really amazing idea! Much much much above my level of skill however! :( I really would like to see a mod like that but there is no way I could attempt it!
