True Heavy Armors and Medium Armors

Beskrivelse
For Dawnguard version (includes this + DG armors), click here.

Do you wish that you felt more like an unstoppable titan in your heavy armor? Do you wish you didn't have to sacrifice mobility for protection? Do you want to sneak around in something that actually protects you?

This may be the mod for you!

Inspired by Morrowind's different Armor levels, I have modified Skyrim's existing heavy armor and broken it down into 2 types:

Medium Armor: (weighs less, but has a lower armor rating)
===============================================
Basic Iron Armor
Falmer Armor
Wolf Armor (Companion Armor)
Ancient Nord Armor
Orcish Armor
Blades Armor
Dragonplate Armor

Unique Items:
Yngol's Helm
Targe of the Blooded
Jagged Crown
Ebony Mail (provides highest armor rating of all medium armors, similar to Morrowind)

Heavy Armor: (weighs a lot, but provides a substantial armor rating)
======================================================
Banded Iron Armor and Shield
Imperial Heavy Armors (including General Tullius' chest piece)
Steel Armor
Dwarven Armor
Steel Plate Armor
Ebony Armor
Daedric Armor

Unique Armors:
Shield of Ysgramor (now only surpassed by Daedric Shield)

Armors listed by rating within their categories.

Note: All armors still use the Heavy Armor skill for perks/skill boost.

*******Also, to balance having heavy but powerful armor, the Steed Stone******
******* now only reduces weight of worn armor by 50%, instead of 100%. ******
Heavily armored chargers still moved slower than their more lightly armored counterparts :P

So have fun as either a slow but powerful juggernaut, or a more mobile but still armored warrior. Please provide any feedback, as I haven't fully tested to make sure every single item has been changed (best way to tell is via weight, if you feel like checking against vanilla, you can find all the weights on the Elder Scrolls wiki. Most, if not all, are different).

Also available on Skyrim Nexus here[skyrim.nexusmods.com].

Morrowind Armors in Skryim
This adds several armors from Morrowind, remodeled and made in Skyrim. It also has medium armors from Morrowind that function like lighter variants of heavy armor, and helped give me the idea from this mod.

I didn't mess too much with Tulius' armor because all the other imp. heavy armor is, well, heavy. I could make it a light armor, but if you use other mods that add on to Tulius' armor....
Anyways, for med armor, I usually used 15-20 for cuirass, gloves and boots were 1-2 points heavier than light armors, and helmets were 2-3 heavier (on avg).

Yeah, idk what kinda images I'd use. I may throw up Morrowind armor pics with comparisons or something.

Two suggestions: Tullius armor looks like light or medium armor, not something bulky and heavy.

Which brings me to the next point: I'm wearing a "Imperial Champion" armor from another mod, and of course, nothing changed. What exact values of weight and armor reduction for medium armor did you have in mind? Just in case I'd like to make compability patches...

Oh and also, the image doesn't do the mod justice :D

Oooooh. Actually, that sounds interesting. I didn't actually make a medium imp. armor, but I could have him give you some other one (as he currently gives you the studded armor for med.). Thanks for the suggestion, and the positive feedback!

This is something I always wanted. Thank you for making it reality.

Just a suggestion: Beirand (the blacksmith in Solitude) let's you chose between light, medium and heavy imperial amor. Ingame, the medium armor got classified as light armor. Do you think it should end up as "your" medium armor?
