Be Invisible

This simple mod provides you with three types of jewelry that makes you invisible once you wear it: a necklace, a circlet and a ring, whichever you prever. Once you wear one of these you will be invisible as long as you wear that piece of jewelry, no more, no less.

Wearing one of these items you will become invisible from the gamers point of view, but you will still be detected by NPCs if your sneak skills are still very low and you have not unlocked sneak perks, as they can hear you (feel you). You should therefore at least have a sneak skill requirement of 80 and all stealth perks and muffle movement perk unlocked. Best results however with skill req. 100 and all perks unlocked. The same goes for pickpocketing.

Screenshots show pickpocketing with pickpocketing skills and sneak skills at 100 and all perks unlocked for both sneak and pickpocket. So, if your skills are less and you have some perks to unlock, be careful ...

The jewelry can be found in a strongbox behind Breezehome in Whiterun.

I know there are quite a few other mods that provide invisibility! But, there is either the LOTR connection or there are other skills/perks concerned. I made this mod because I thought it made no sense sneaking around an NPC and not be seen, without being invisible.
