Small map based in some kind of office, games are quick and to the point, no pointless running around for traders that don't need to be there

Wow this is nice.... the only comment I would like to leave is that the doors don't fit in right....coz you know you have clean looking textures everywhere else but as soon as you see a door, just looks out of place thanks to its dirty looking appearance...

specimens dont like elevators lol, plus from what you're describing, i'd have to use scripted spawns to make sure they dont spawn on other floors, and im not familiar with scripted spawns

Nuh, imagine four elevators in a square w/o walls in a void BUT with rooms for the elevators to stop and let specimens spawn and come into.

Ever thought of making a map based on evelavtors? Like different elevator shafts and you can jump from on to another. The elevators stop and open to a room that spawns specimens so you have to be fast to get off one elevator that'll stop.

well dont be offended by my comment. people might keep one alive but they're still on the move. i know its not necessary, and it really works out in some maps (for instance, rats)

besides that, its all personal preference. some men like kiting, some like to hold out.

my maps are for people like me that just want to get to the meat of the game, which is shooting/slicing and killing hundreds of zeds, plus the few times i've actually tried making big maps i end up getting bored with it before it's finished
