09/20 Update - Fixed a rather critical bug where you were given no torch to start with. =(

A series of puzzles and challenges in which you have nothing but your torch to help you.

Estimated playtime: 1-2 hours
Number of levels: 4
Combat difficulty: Moderate to High
Puzzle difficulty: Moderate to High

Dev tips:
- Nearly all of the puzzles require the torch in some way.
- Don't throw your torch away unless you're pretty certain you're supposed to be throwing it! When in doubt, *save first!*
- Invest in unarmed combat and/or Rogue's Reach Attack. You won't be getting any weapons.

To clarify the below - the hidden area to the south of the pressure plates is accessible when you activate both plates, but you can permanently open the hidden doors once you're back there with the newly accessible switches. This is how you get your torch back.

You don't need to open up all four branches.

You need to activate two of the four pressure plates at the same time.

[Full explanation follows]
Activate the 2nd pressure plate from the left and the rightmost one (on the map). One will be activated by the torch, of course. From there, the secret doors open long enough to get into the hidden area. Then you can open the door to the pressure plate room containing your torch with a switch on the wall, reclaim it, and move on.

In the "From left it's halved and halved and halves" pit puzzle is a road-block. In the left-most pit on Level 4 the secret door slides open but right behind it ramins a solid wall so there is no way to open up all 4 branches.

Sounds like you figured it out, but let's just say the pressure plate is in a very specific place relative to the first gate for a very specific reason. =)

Okay.. Little unintutive and down right hard right off the bat, but I figured it out.

In the 'squander not' room, the only item you have to hold the pressure plate down is your torch. But then you need a torch just 5-7 squares away. Taking the torch off the plate means you can't get any further.
Makes no sense, man.

When you play from the editor you get a torch automatically in the main character's hand. I had (foolishly) not tested it from the main menu to see if things were different.

This is now fixed. You're given a normal torch in the first room, which will quickly be upgraded to a special one. Sorry for the bug. D:

Ok, i'm starting out in a 2-square-room. 4 empty inventories, 1 message on the wall, 1 alcove behind me, nothing on the floor, no buttons, no doors, no wallmounts and - drumroll - no torch! Are you sure you didn't forget something, like to put that torch in here??
