This demo is for Windows and Linux, and it will be improved as Retrobooster moves toward completion. Let me know what you think of it.

Summary

When evil aliens invade the galaxy, it is up to you and your fleet of decommissioned starfighters to drive them back. Pilot your nimble thrust ship through tense battles and tight spaces. Hone your piloting skills, rescue survivors, blow up gobs of baddies, witness the horrors that lurk in the darkest corners of the galaxy, and make it out alive.

Retrobooster is an old school survival shooter and cave-flyer for Windows and Linux. It focuses on skill-based flying and enemy blasting with rich visual and audio effects. It also has speed-flying challenges, puzzles, impressive weaponry, a warped sense of humor, creepy enemies, and a healthy dose of bullet hell. Survive to the end if you can, and use your awesome new flying skills to replay for high scores.

  • Classic thrust ship controls that are challenging to master
  • 30+ levels to unlock
  • 4 skill levels
  • Single player or up to 4 players split-screen

  • Find weapons and power-ups to increase your lethality

Thank you for including couch co-op! I will support any PC game that includes this because then my family can play together!

That's a really cool hack :) Good to see someone is picking up NVidia's slack. Please keep me posted if you make any more progress with this, and let me know if there is a way I can help.

You guessed right, 3D Vision on Windows. I did a search on OpenGL and 3D Vision and found someone working on a wrapper, I posted a comment there: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/682130/3d-vision/-opengl-3d-vision-wrapper-enabling-3d-vision-in-opengl-apps/post/4205001/#4205001
