Description
This mod makes simple QoL changes to the UI. It does not aim to be a complete UI overhaul a la CQUI, but rather to make basic adjustments based on what is there.

Current changes include:

City Banners:
  • Worked tiles, Next Border Growth and City Yields are displayed on hover.
  • May enter Citizen Management on right click.
  • Religion Tooltip on hover.

City Panel:
  • Moves so it is not covered by the production panel on open.
  • Yields are now arranged in an Endless Legend-like order.
  • The Food Yield now takes into account food consumption and modifiers from amenities and housing.
  • The building count has been replaced by district count and limit.
  • Your can now rename cities from the panel.

City Overview Panel:
  • Added building, district, and wonder tooltips.
  • Right-click on buildings, districts, and wonders brings up the Civilopedia.

ETC:

Many thanks to DivineYuri for their City Panel mod, which was the base for a couple of the modifications in my mod, as well as the inspiration for this thing in the first place.

This mod is not compatible with CQUI or NQUI.
This mod is compatible with JFD's RwF.

@FinalFreak16: Firaxis must have renamed the function, I didn't add it :p

Thanks, I'll fix it in the next version. And thanks so much for making a compatible version.

@Sukritact I've discovered a Runtime error with CityBannerManager.lua from line 362 when trying to display Aerodrome banners. The GetUnitIconAndIconShadow() function you added cannot be found. Changing back to just GetUnitIcon() fixes the issue.

I noticed this while making a compatible version of my Suzerain At A Glance mod and thought I'd mention it!

@sukritact Thanks for the awesome mod, works like a charm.
I am wondering if there is a way to disable the worked tile indicator ? I can do basic file editing with notepad++ but I am not sure what line to change.

@FLSoz I'm the creator of Suzerain At A Glance, I havn't tested it with Sukritacts Simple UI yet but as you guessed both mods replace the files for managing city banners. It shouldnt be too difficult to merge them. I'll upload a compatible version soon.

I don't want people to have to choose not to run mods like CQUI, NQEUI and this one just to run mine.

Note: disabled simplified gossip, suzerain at a glance, and it works - personally i think it's suzerain at a glance that conflicts b/c it also modifies the city banner

Not able to get the hover tooltip to work - using:
-this
-military doctrines
-Bear's agenda expansion
-Suzerain at a glance
-Theater natural wonder bonus
-unique district icon
-better civ icons
-city name generator
-removable districts
-simplified gossip
-map tacks
-better specialists

Great mod! I am very happy to see more UI mods that don't affect saved games. My only trouble was figuring out how the religion tooltip worked, because it looks so much like the religion lens. I did eventually figure it out though.

Will this work with NQUI?
