Description
Protector Spells v1.01 - by MisterSneak and MrJack

The Protector Spell pack adds support spells that let you use your wizarding skill to lead your allies to victory! Let your followers focus on killing the enemy, and you can focus on keeping them alive with this simple set of spells. This mod is absolutely game-changing for players of support characters, letting you have the satisfaction of destroying enemies with pure passive aggression.

- New spells improve your skills; Improve Alteration as your ally takes hits with Stoneflesh active!
- Get spells naturally, as loot, from general spell vendors and the College of Winterhold.
- Carefully balanced to maintain a Vanilla level of balance for mana costs and power of the spells.
- This mod gives you more options; Existing Vanilla spells are not made obsolete by this mod!

Alteration -
* Oakflesh on Other
* Stoneflesh on Other
* Ironflesh on Other
* Ebonyflesh on other
* DragonHide on Other
* Waterbreathing on Other

Destruction -
* Flame Cloak on Other
* Frost Cloak on Other
* Lightning Cloak on Other

Restoration -
* Lesser Ward on Other
* Greater Ward on Other
* Healing Embrace (channeled healing spell)
* Healing Meditation (channeled healing spell)
* Divine Healing (powerful channeled healing in on self in AOE)
* Mend Wounds (heal over time)
* Mend Wounds on Other (heal over time)
* Mend Greater Wounds (heal over time)
* Mend Greater Wounds on Other (heal over time)
* Mending Boon (heal over time on self and in AOE around caster)
* Soften Symptoms (halves disease penalties on self for a while)
* Relieve Symptoms (removes all disease penalties on self for a while)
* Vaccine (cures diseases after 24 hours)
* Divine Remedy (cures diseases after 4 hours)

Illusion -
* Muffle on Other
* Invisibility on Other


Worried that playing support is boring or too easy? In group battles you'll find that targeting your ally becomes a challenge, and if your allies are ever defeated, watch out, you're next! Juggle buffing multiple summons and your henchman and keeping each at full capacity. Manage your magicka so that you can give the ally the boost they need right when they need it!
You may find yourself using spells you used to think were useless, such as Ward, which is now fantastic for supporting an ally in battle.


Future versions of the mod will add brand-new spells that are crafted from the ground-up to expand the support caster's toolbelt, such as higher level "Explosive Wards" that send enemy magic exploding back at them!



---1.01 UPDATE---
Big Fixes
* Updated all new healing effects to support the Restoration perk which adds Stamina to all Healing effects.
* Fixed the "Vaccine" effect so that it properly takes 24 hours for the disease to be healed.

Updated Description to reveal Divine Healing, Vaccine and Divine Remedy spells. Adjusted wording and formatting. Added a few screenshots showing a support caster in action, fighting a few formidable foes.

I would not know how to alter their AI to convince them to use it on you! I know there are follower mods that permit you to teach followers spells by giving them books, so this mod should be compatible with those, but altering the AI is probably beyond my skills!

It would be awesome if we could ____"teach"____ followers these spells like in a mod from Oblivion. You would have a follower with different abilities and combat skills and you could change your combat style.

undead healing spells for those that conjure the undead or just wanna heal serana. thats my only suggestion a undead heal beam. or better yet something that heals the dwarven machines and so on. Otherwise ggod job.

Noticed this in your signature. Considering I'm currently playing a character who stays out of combat as much as possible, delegating the violence to Lydia and Casteo, this is amazing. Especially because I'm using AFT's option to disable bleedout recovery while in combat. So, when they go down, they stay down (which bad for me). Thank you for these.

I do wish it was available on the nexus (or anywhere that I could download the zip instead of letting skyrim handle it), but I'll survive, I'm sure lol.

instead shrine maidens use prayer, chant and ceremony as their spiritual medium

i guess it would be a healer/Bard/mystic combianation only without the music part of the bard

bards boost stats and weaken enemies
healers heal wounds of allies and self
and mystics use a combination of spells like armor spells and clairvoyance type things and detect life and death and stuff like that
