Update #5 Kickstarter is En Route!
The World
The Last Phoenix is an aerial combat adventure game where the player controls the last remaining Fire-bird who awakens to find the world rotting away, sending the few intact sections of earth floating high above the clouds. With the once vibrant world covered in ash and frost, the phoenix is faced with malicious Carrion birds as he uncovers the mysteries of the world that came before. Master your abilities and fight against the decay. Restore the balance between life and death.

Soar Above the Clouds - Explore a world lost in ruin and uncover it's many mysteries. With Metroidvania-style exploration and discovery, there's always something new to uncover.

Master the Flames - Unleash torrents of fire and light as the phoenix charges, slashes, and wash flames across the Carrion birds.

Battle against Aerial Villains - As you quest through the islands in the sky, you'll be beset by the conniving and traitorous Crows, or the cunning, more elite Carrion who will be able to counter your abilities and test your aerial prowess.

Restore the Environment - As the phoenix flies through the environment, frost and ash are cleared away and vegetation will regrow in real time. Restoring each Island will purify it permanently.

What you see here is what our team has been able to accomplish across three months of development. With the success of the Greenlight, we want to expand the project beyond its current state.
