Character Creation Overhaul + Optional Modules

Description
This is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED optional module for Character Creation Overhaul located at:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=89896226

You must have the Character Creation Overhaul for this mod to work.

Vanilla Skyrim allowed any starting character, regardless of race or gender, to excel at virtually anything, taking out the fun, strategy, and role-playing aspects of previous Elder Scrolls games from the overall Skyrim experience. CCO makes races and genders diverse again, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, so that each play through will be noticeably different. For example, a male Orc will have more starting health and carrying capacity than a female High Elf, but the High Elf will have significantly more magicka. Starting health, magicka, stamina, and carry weight have all been carefully and formulaically derived from each race/gender's traditional attributes (e.g. Strength, Endurance, Intelligence, etc.) and then adjusted for balance in Skyrim. Additionally, (like in the previous Elder Scrolls game) all races' skills will start at level 5 before racial bonuses are applied. See the CCO Races chart for specifics. See the CCO Races chart for specifics.

Hi Buster, after you subscribed are the files in your Skyrim Data Files? Here are some troubleshooting steps:

1. Go to Skyrim Launcher -> Data Files and check to see if Character Creation Overhaul.esp was downloaded. If not, wait for Steam to sync your subscribed mods.

2. Go to Skyrim Launcher -> Data Files. Make sure Character Creation Overhaul.esp is enabled (e.g. has a checkbox next to it)

3. Load a game and wait 10 seconds for the mod to activate. If you are starting a new game, wait 10 seconds after the character creation for the CCO menu to pop up.

Thanks! I'll muck around with it. Also, great work on all of your stuff! I can't play without your Random Alternate Start mod.

Hi Zargon, first let me say thank you for raising your concern in a respectful manner. I know a lot of people don't agree with the calculated stats and I appreciate you did not make it into a personal attack. Yes, you can edit the values yourself but you'll need to open up the Creation Kit and dig through the scripts. I've annotated them fairly well so you should be able to find and edit the values if you know your way around the kit. If you don't you can try asking someone over at the Bethesda forums as I no longer have Skyrim or the Creation Kit installed. Have a great day!

Hey Syclonix, I'm super in to this mod! However it drives me crazy that most of the female variants are flat out worse than male variants. It's a huge bummer because I LOVE the idea of bringing gender specific's back. Is there any way I can edit these stats?

@gisarockstar: I really can't help you without further details about the problem. What seems to be the issue? What have you tried doing already?

Hi cepTrik, this is an optional module for CCO. You'll need CCO for this mod to work. Please see the description for what it does.
